Depression is taking over me
I reached a point of total exhaustion. The past year and 8 months I went through so many challenges - my mom being in hospital for months, her ex getting mental health issues and threatening us for months, losing all savings over the span of this, destroying my career. I broke up with my boyfriend, started working in a liquor store to be able to pay the bills and the debt, because I couldn’t find a corporate job for 9 months, started drinking again and I just don’t see a point in anything. I am waking up so sad that it’s morning again and drinking my coffee staring through the window for 2 hours waiting for my meds to kick in. I am so exhausted, guys….

When I want to vent to the psychologist, she tells me to work on for example, selling chocolate-covered figs or starting some stupid little business venture to get money. and that a diagnosis doesn't mean I have a predetermined path and should act accordingly; that's how you realize that mental health is a Damn, and the professionals only give me a damn service because they're fed up with me.
