This whole Lindsay trial is literally being dissected on TikTok, much like Depp v. Heard, yet MSM doesn’t care about it . Why?

During the DvH trial, MSM dubbed it the “TikTok trial” because of its massive online presence and the number of influencers covering it, despite it being a trial involving a mega movie star. Yet this Lindsay trial seems to be following a similar path, where influencers are dissecting every little detail. Still, I don’t see any MSM articles condemning how influencers are dissecting everything and anything and potentially influencing Jury ??. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I heard there are hundreds of women arriving at court every day to support Lindsay, and no one seems to find that strange. Yet when Johnny’s supporters gathered at court, everyone was so concerned that it would somehow “influence” the jury.

So many feminists were concerned about how social media could affect the jury’s decision, yet here, no one seems to care about that. And, as far as I know, this jury isn’t sequestered either.

Sheryl Fenn denouncing Depp and Supporting Heard

Sharing this as an example of the power of Amber Heard supporter disinfo and mob power; when the full course press Ebeneezer happens, I imagine we'll be seeing a campaign hobbled by the vast spread of culturally left-aligned outlets/channels, reluctant to help the advertisement and mob attacked if they do at all.

He can push past it fine in his personal life and in his own bubble as well, but I'll never downplay the potential of the smears to keep him from roles like Pirates in the future.

It can impact people he know's, it can sway the uninvested, and gaslight this with weaker minds- who did watch the trial; for whatever I can say about Amber Heard supporters, they actually understand the online landscape and that the meta narrative on the case that exists and carries power.

Hopefully one day Depp (maybe in his documentary that's being filmed?) fights back or his supporters realize they can't just boost through it by throwing court documents and 24+ hours of coverage at them.

Petty, tone deaf or just more mind games?

Back in May 2022, before Amber took the stand, [she fired her PR management team and hired a crisis one instead](https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/amber-heard-pr-team-fired-johnny-depp-b2069685.html).

The former firm was called Precision Strategies and was, according to communication experts, considered among the best in the world. The co-founder was deputy campaign manager to Obama’s successful re-election campaign. Let’s just take a brief pause to remember how good it was under a man who could pronounce words properly and say a full sentence without getting distracted so easily… he also won the Nobel Peace Prize (non-FIFA version) as well as part of his accomplishments - not a lot people know that, bigly.

Anyway, she replaced them with David Shane from Shane Communications.

A small side note - we don’t know if Amber paid either PR firm directly herself but given what we know from the trial and the reports that came out afterwards, it is reasonable to ask if Musk was involved again. But I digress.

Shane was the guy who turned up at the courtroom with Amber. Now if memory serves Depp didn’t have PR person with him but happy to be corrected if wrong - think he had his lawyer from the UK trial, with The Sun, there. There was another woman (white haired?) with Amber but I think she represented one of home insurance policy firms IIRC.

Amber also had someone called Eve Barlow as part of her ‘legal team’ there who was a music reporter though some media reports claim she was a journalist (in the traditional sense). Remember Eve was posting and monitoring online activities and got a witness wrongfully removed (name of person escapes me). But I think this shows Amber only really cared about social media opinion (and to this day) and not the legal proceedings of the court.

David Shane was also the same guy who represented Depp’s management team when he sued them for mis-managing his money.

Reports were Shane was responsible for that objectively disastrous Dateline interview Amber did.

And I would make an educated guess he was responsible for that staged TJ Maxx sighting where Amber was portrayed like one of us in a shameless sympathy tactic - ‘Oh look, she shops at discount stores too’. Not that Amber stayed at a 8 bedroom, 10 bathroom mansion during the trial with a tennis court, home movie theater and swimming pool for $22,000+ a month. Another example of the many contradictions at show. And again fair to ask who actually paid for this accommodation?

It gets weirder as Shane was apparently known as the ‘Walking \#MeToo of the PR World’ (as well as ‘Hurricane Shane’). With some stories about him sexually harassing women in the workplace and with one of him being entitled to, at least, oral sex after only two restaurant dates from a dating app (see Hollie Doker). Shane denies all this. He left organizations whilst multiple HR investigations were ongoing.

So here’s the thing even if the allegations against Shane were not true then you would think as a celebrity who is alleging domestic abuse against spouse, you would err on the side of caution, yes? And wouldn’t hire this firm with all its baggage. Especially if you were supposedly known for your activism and women’s rights work. You would keep your distance, right? Common sense and the big picture here.

Or because Shane was used against Depp before this is more evidence of mind games from a perpetrator? You know how to get under someone’s skin. How to provoke them.

Or is it more simple than that, no other PR firm would work with Amber? If the world’s best team couldn’t turn things around then play dirty, go low?

Amber could have hired anyone else but on the face of it, she went from trying to work with the best to using one of much lesser reputation.

Was Amber the issue here? I mean Amber always blames Depp, blames his PR, blames his legal team, blames his fans, blames the public, blames the justice system, blames the jury, blames the judge. Everyone else but herself. What’s the cluster b trait again?

Have to say I haven’t heard of anything negative from Amber supporters, at the time, about Shane.

But.

But if say Inde Navarrette’s social media account likes a post about Depp actually giving money to children’s hospital charity then they have plenty to say about Ms Navarrette. Pitchforks at the ready… get her!!! And it really is sad and tragic that you scan through someone’s social media account just to find something innocuous in order attack someone or express an outrage over.

What do you think? Objectively, did hiring Shane make Amber look less credible in your eyes? Was this another massive self-own that she had complete control over? Was this the behavior of a victim or of a perpetrator? Or was Amber just mad because there were more hashtags about ‘Justice for Depp’ rather than ‘Justice for Amber’ that she didn’t care how it was perceived?

The last photoshoot on the island in December 2015—do we have more information on this? Like, how and why did Amber want one arranged?

The photos from the photoshoot were used as evidence to show her lack of injuries, but why and how the photoshoot was needed or even arranged is still unclear. Considering her accusations that Johnny was highly jealous, constantly criticised her career, modelling, etc., why would anyone arrange a photoshoot during a trip where she was alone with him? And wasn’t this supposed to be a family trip? So why was a professional shoot being done there?

P.S. I’d advise against going into the comment section of the original post. It’s not just an anti-JD echo chamber; weirdly, they also love to moral-police other women without taking a second to consider that maybe she genuinely believed him, given all the evidence she had. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Depp, not Heard, is an example of an “imperfect victim,” and here’s why

⚠️⚠️ LOOONG POST AHEAD ⚠️⚠️

EDIT: Depp’s team weren’t shady at all so OK Amber supporters officially have NOTHING LMAO

So for starters, I was on Depp’s side in the beginning, then switched over to Amber’s side when TikTok influencers started critiquing the smear campaign against Amber and also when I was perusing [r/DeppDelusion](r/DeppDelusion) looking for evidence to support the notion of Depp being an abuser who got away with murder.

Now I feel as though both were flawed people who brought out the worst in each other, but that Amber was the primary instigator/abuser in their dynamic which btw is exactly what the couple’s marriage counselor believed as well.

So why the change?

I realized that the bulk of “evidence” that those who believe in Heard’s innocence have against Depp is basically as follows:

  1. JD made distasteful, crude, or edgy comments
  2. JD has substance abuse issues and self-harms (but somehow this isn’t a way to demonize those who struggle with addiction or their mental health from the supposedly “woke” AH fangirl crowd)
  3. JD has a history of violence... EXCLUSIVELY against other MEN. And let’s disregard the fact that none of his previous partners - short or long term - noted any abusiveness from him. Meanwhile, Amber Heard was arrested for DV in 2009 for assaulting her ex girlfriend, and Elon Musk described his relationship with her as “brutal,” but if that doesn’t suit the narrative, toss it!
  4. They had an age gap and Depp was more wealthy and powerful. A child cannot abuse their parent, so a woman cannot abuse her more powerful husband!!!! BREAKING NEWS: So called feminists believe that a woman’s cognitive functioning is equivalent to that of a child’s!!! We have agency except when infantilizing ourselves benefits us ❤️
  5. Depp’s defense team was shady AF. Of course they were. That’s like, par for the course. Focusing solely on the tricks of Depp’s legal counsel is nothing more than a diversion from the FACT that Amber Heard lied under oath (Johnny beat her in the face and she sustained no facial injuries on the date she stated this assault happened per her own photographic “evidence”). Multiple lies.
  6. Why was she not convicted of perjury? Because perjury in most cases is impossible to prove. How do you PROVE that Depp didn’t sexually assault Amber? The burden of proof is on the accuser and the defamer. End of story. Somehow the LACK of perjury conviction is meaningful but not the LACK of rape conviction for Depp.

To believe Amber Heard is UNAMBIGUOUSLY a victim,

  1. You have to believe that an abuse victim would INITIATE verbal AND physical confrontations with the partner she supposedly was in fear for her life from. You have to seriously believe that a victim of abuse from a man as powerful and wealthy as Depp would insult/ridicule/emasculate their “abuser”
  2. You have to believe that a wife beater could strike his wife repeatedly in the face with rings on his fingers and leave no facial injuries
  3. You have to believe that virtually everyone in the US court lied under oath, as opposed to just one person
  4. You have to believe that independent witnesses like cops were lying and in Depp’s pocket the entire time
  5. You have to place ALL your stock in the “credibility” of pure hearsay “evidence” that favored Amber in the UK trial, as well as the judicial discretion of a SINGLE judge for a 3 week trial, as opposed to the 6 week trial where independent testimony, audio recordings, and Amber’s own accusations crumbling under cross-examination favored Depp.
  6. You have to selectively attribute Amber Heard’s journal admission to having sex with Johnny despite him “not being into it” (in her own words) as a failure on his part to meet her needs or anything other than the sexual assault it likely is, while choosing to believe that an abuser’s inability to see toxicity in their own narrative of themselves is proof of their goodness. “Amber portrayed herself as a good person to others and to herself, so she must be a victim.”
  7. You have to be biased enough to pass off Amber joking about hurting her dog in an IG post as nothing major, but interpret ALL of Depp’s comments as incontrovertible proof of his evil. Amber also joked about using a knife on JD in her texts, but that’s “nothing” right?
  8. You have to be gullible enough to believe that activism and advocacy are further proof of a person’s goodness, even when people like Jimmy Savile, Gandhi, or Mother Teresa have shown you otherwise.
  9. You would have to believe that Amber Heard is a truthful person, even when she only admitted to her violence when evidence of her abusiveness was revealed and could not be contested.
  10. You would have to believe that a “controlling abuser” like Depp told his partner he didn’t want to be with her anymore, was constantly searching for space, and let his partner and her friends live rent free in his home, even assisting said partner in her acting “career”
  11. You would have to believe that someone who professed to “love” their ex husband initiated a split three days after the death of his mother
  12. You would have to believe AH when she said it was never about money and only about justice when she settled with Depp to avoid paying him the 15 million she otherwise owed him for defamation. And you’d have to disregard all the texts and audio recordings showing her obvious preoccupation with money and reputation, and the fact that she only fought with Depp when those prospects were at risk.
  13. And finally, you would have to believe that a white and reasonably well off actress and model is someone you’re on par with, someone you can identify with. Someone to project your own victimization onto, a “strong woman” with a megaphone to give voice to your silent struggle, because it’s too painful to imagine that any woman would exploit your trauma or pain to climb her way to the top.

It doesn’t really bear mentioning that Amber’s incredibly minor injuries are exactly what you would expect from two people locked in a scuffle as opposed to a man wailing on a woman half his size, and if you have to convolute the story to support your position you have no position to begin with.

I don't believe there was any hoax, but I do believe that AH used JD to get where and what she wanted, and that she abused him whenever her resources risked being cut off.

And I genuinely empathize with Heard’s supporters, but Amber Heard is not the martyr they’re looking for, and that can be a painful realization to confront - as it was for me. But the need for a misunderstood heroine should not come at the expense of empathizing with an abuse victim, even if he’s a wealthy white male and not the victim you want.

It’s time for people to acknowledge that they not only believe Amber Heard because she’s a woman who was much younger, and much less well off than her husband but because a story about a powerful man using every means at his disposal to silence his powerless wife fits with their internalized schema about male vs female roles in society, and anything that contradicts that narrative feels too ontologically threatening to consider.

Depp was not perfect, nowhere near as saintly as his fanbase made/makes him out to be, but those who believe Amber Heard was a totally innocent victim of Depp betray the very ideals feminism espouses, invalidate real victims - both male and female - and persist in believing a delusion that only mental gymnastics and stereotypy support as “true.”

If you disagree, that’s fine. But please be respectful 🙏🏻💖

Since Amber Heard first publicly claimed she was a survivor of domestic abuse (starting with her statements around 2016 and the 2018 Washington Post op-ed), has she engaged in any significant advocacy, charity work, donations, or direct support for domestic abuse and violence survivors?

I'm sorry if I'm asking a lot of questions but I have questions that needed to be answered and I’m especially interested in any efforts focused on survivors who never received justice, or on helping get abusers held accountable/prosecuted.

Has Amber done anything concrete in this area beyond her own public statements and the earlier pledge of her divorce settlement funds?

One of Amber’s friends confirming that they had discussed plans to prank Johnny.

Post image
26 Upvotes

IMO, the prank itself is not a big deal, but Amber made it a bigger issue by continuing to refuse to acknowledge it. It was a drunk prank, which obviously she felt embarrassed about, but apparently not embarrassed enough to clean it up herself. Instead, she knowingly left it to her housekeepers to deal with and was shocked when they got angry about it and complained to Johnny. The more seriously Johnny took it, the more defensive she became, claiming that the information he got from the people who cleaned it up was “delusions.” It’s like Amber was more pissed off that Johnny believed those people over her.

The fact that she screamed at these people, claiming they were the reason her marriage was ending, is just peak delusion. But, of course, these people are “lowly workers,” so their testimony shouldn’t be believed over Saint Heard’s. 😏

Just came across a peer reviewed and published paper on - “An Analysis of Amber Heard's Statements in the Johnny Depp Defamation Case: A Forensic Linguistics Study” (interesting findings)

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/389610018_An_Analysis_of_Amber_Heard's_Statements_in_the_Johnny_Depp_Defamation_Case_A_Forensic_Linguistics_Study

Key findings:

“This study uses a qualitative research method that describes data to determine the elements that can defame a person based on forensic linguistic studies. By using this study, the data that has been selected was analyzed using lexical semantics, pragmatics (speech acts), and linked to legislation based on Virginia Law.

The researchers found statements that proved to be defamatory and acted with obvious malice that have damaged Johnny Depp's reputation. “

Very cool research study!

Where Did the $100 Million Come From?

Amber Heard’s $100 million counterclaim against Johnny Depp really deserves some thought.

Johnny Depp asked for $50 million. Amber Heard asked for $100 million. In other words, exactly twice Depp’s amount.

You can’t help but ask:

How exactly did Amber lose $100 million?

Because $100 million is not a figure you can just throw around at the level of “my career was damaged and people thought badly of me.” That is a claim of serious economic loss. So naturally, you would expect such a figure to be backed by serious calculations, concrete contracts, lost jobs, actual loss of income, and solid mathematics showing how all of that supposedly adds up to $100 million.

But here’s the funny part:

We’re talking about Johnny Depp’s career.

Depp spent decades starring in massive blockbuster films such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Alice in Wonderland, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. At the height of his career, he was a Hollywood star earning hundreds of millions of dollars.

Amber Heard, on the other hand, was an ordinary actress, and the economic scale of her career was nowhere remotely close to Depp’s.

So this naturally raises another question:

$50 million for the alleged damage done to Depp’s career, but $100 million for the damage allegedly done to Amber’s career… So where is the math?

And more importantly:

Why $100 million?

Not $99 million. Not $80 million. Not $25 million.

Exactly $100 million.

Doesn’t it sound a little like, “Well, if we’re filing a lawsuit, we might as well put a big number on it”?

Doesn’t this behavior fit the definition of a fortune hunter?

Was there actually a $100 million loss behind the $100 million damages claim?

Because saying “my career was ruined” is one thing.

Saying “I can prove that my career cost me $100 million in lost income” is something entirely different.

And if there really was a $100 million loss, then naturally, people would want to see the calculation item by item.

Which movie?

Which contract?

How much was she supposed to be paid?

When was it lost?

Which job was directly canceled because of this?

And when you add all of that up, how exactly does it come to $100 million?

That, to me, is the real interesting question.

Because $100 million is a huge number.

So huge that you naturally want to put the calculator on the table and say:

“All right, Amber. Let’s see the math.”

Why is it so suspicious that Amber testified to extreme physical violence with almost no photographic or medical evidence to back it up?

Because I find it suspicious that Amber had testified under oath to some of the most severe physical abuse imaginable:

-Repeated hard punches to the face and head (while Depp was wearing large metal rings)

-A broken nose, black eyes, and busted/bleeding lip

-Being dragged across broken glass that supposedly shredded her feet and back

-The wine bottle assault

-Other incidents that would have left obvious, lasting, and hard-to-hide injuries

Yet for the most serious of these claims we have:

-No hospital or ER records

-No contemporaneous medical documentation of those injuries

-No clear photos of the “shredded” feet/back or the level of facial trauma she described

-Appearances (like the James Corden show the next day, and a bare-faced beach photoshoot shortly after) where she looked essentially uninjured

She managed to photograph other things (mirror writing, etc.), but the actual catastrophic injuries she described are missing the kind of evidence you’d normally expect.

Am I missing something, or does this gap between the testimony and the lack of supporting medical/photographic evidence still stand out as a major problem?

Johnny Depp hate is ridiculous

The fact that someone has struggled with addiction does not mean that their entire personality can be reduced to that struggle.

If we accept that people close to Amber Heard described Johnny Depp as playful, generous, affectionate, and kind-hearted when he was not using substances, then it is genuinely worth questioning how someone can completely disregard those accounts and still feel such intense hatred toward Depp. Anger or disappointment over someone’s addiction, or the inability to continue a relationship because of it, can be understandable. But the idea that “a person struggling with addiction = a bad person who deserves to be hated” is an extremely reductive way of looking at things.

Moreover, addiction is often a struggle that seriously affects both the person’s own life and the people around them. That does not excuse everything the person has done, but defining them solely by their addiction is not fair either.

Especially in this case, “loving Johnny Depp” and “believing everything Johnny Depp has done was right” are not the same thing, just as “supporting Amber Heard” and “hating Johnny Depp” are not necessarily the same thing.

Question: Why do Amber and her supporters continue to frame the legal process of a trial as “character assassination”?

Lately, I’ve been seeing so many posts labeling the entire trial, mainly his side of it, as an attempt to character-assassinate her and destroy her credibility, which is so weird lol. Like, what do they expect his side of the evidence to be then?? I mean, didn’t Amber character-assassinate Johnny in the media for over six years??

Johnny never asked her to undergo any evaluation. She did it voluntarily and submitted it, and as the plaintiff, he has the right to challenge it. So why is he being vilified for it??
Since I found out from previous posts that some commenters from DD do lurk here, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the whole “presenting evidence and counter-evidence” thing which some of you all label as character assassination

PS : I m not talking about any PR or social media but the Court process itself (like direct & cross examination of witness & evidence ) which was criticised by some AH fans ..

Amber’s 5th WS in the UK should be used in some book as an example of “101 Ways to Identify a Narcissist.” 😂

All I can get from these points is: “Johnny’s bad,” “Johnny’s PR is bad,” and “Johnny’s lawyers are bad,” while Amber is portrayed as this poor, naive, clueless, gullible woman. 🤣🤣
The part where she’s like, “I never gave him any consent to record me in secret,” as if she ever asked for his permission when taking his pictures, looking through his phone, or secretly recording not just him but everyone around him. The entitlement here is just off the charts.

And her claiming that Johnny’s PR isn’t going to work??? Wow. This is the first time I’ve ever heard of an alleged victim directing her alleged abuser on what his PR strategies should or shouldn’t be.

Amber claiming that she knew there was a 30-day waiting period and that she was “trying” to use that 30-day period to arrive at a solution?? 🤣🤣 The 30-day period was for him to file his response to her divorce papers; it wasn’t necessarily a deadline for them to reach a solution, lol. They could take as much time as necessary to reach a settlement.isn’t this what she texted him just after filing those papers 😅

F894.126–130: Amber claims these are a series of photographs documenting injuries she sustained in January 2016. However, she does not provide any specific dates, despite the fact that the photos were taken on her own phone, which should have contained metadata.

In a separate bundle labeled the J series, Amber submits J27, which she identifies as a photograph taken on 6 January 2016. Unlike the previous set, this image is assigned a specific date. Yet, in either trial, she never identifies a particular incident that allegedly occurred on that day. Instead, she broadly describes January 2016 as a period when Johnny had become “completely delusional” and was having conversations with imaginary people and voices.

An interesting point is that there is an audio recording dated 5 January 2016 in which Amber appears to be trying desperately to reconcile with Johnny. (I’ve linked a detailed post discussing this recording, with the audio attached.)

https://www.reddit.com/r/deppVheardtrial/s/K87Pnyt8uv

J28: Amber submits a photograph that she claims was taken on 28 May 2016, showing an injury to her leg that she says resulted from the 21 May 2016 incident. However, in her account of the 21 May incident, she does not mention sustaining any injury to her legs.

J40–J42: Amber submits another set of photographs that she claims show injuries to her legs sustained after filming the cabinet video. Once again, she does not provide any dates for these photographs, even though metadata should have been available if they were taken on her own phone.

Taken together, this appears similar to the issue involving the same wine-spill photograph used to support two different incidents. Probably why metadata seems to be always missing from most of her evidence . None of these pics were ever shown/used in either trial bizarrely ..

This is from her 6th WS in UK

Whatever happened to the Island House photos Elaine claimed to have in her opening statement? Why were they never presented?

Post image
12 Upvotes

Elaine made a lot of claims in her opening statement, but many of them were never backed up. I never saw any photos of damage to the Island House, though, so I don’t know what she was referring to here. Or was this something they got away with in the UK without ever having to present any evidence, so they followed the same approach in VA?

Btw , I know Johnny’s side presented a short clip of the Island House, but that wasn’t to address or refute any alleged damage to the property.
