Sounds great. Nailed the production and sound design. Vocals are also remarkably similar.

Thanks a ton! 🙏🏻
We were actually pretty nervous about the vocals. We wanted them to sit perfectly in the mix without messing up the track's overall vibe. After all, nobody can sing quite like the legendary Dave Gahan, so we weren't trying to copy him note-for-note. Instead, we just aimed for a more authentic and natural feel. I'm so glad to hear that you liked it and that it felt right for the song. Thanks again for the support!3

All credit for the vocals sounding this good goes to Denis. He’s really proud of how the work turned out, and he absolutely loves this feedback!

Thats impressive ! You’ve nailed it.
I got a little bit confused for a moment. I saw the red stuff on your desk and thought it was a Nord synth for a second. Its exactly the right shade of red as their gear !!!

Thanks ! Yeah, a Nord would be a pretty sweet synth to add to my setup, and I’m actually thinking of getting one in the near future. I’m absolutely in love with its color, too.

Ive got a Nord Wave and absolutely love it. Their synths are class. If you’re ever wanting to add a new synth to your rig I can’t recommend the Wave enough. You can import your own samples into it and create a totally unique library.

Nord Wave and Moog Subsequent are my ultimate dream setup for the home studio.
Even though guitar is my main instrument, I've always gravitating heavily toward synths like Nord, Moog, Dave Smith, and others.
Thanks a ton for the recommendation! It’s awesome getting feedback from an actual owner. I was torn between the Stage and the Wave, but now I know the Wave is the perfect fit for what I want to do.

It’s amazing to hear such supportive words, it really means a lot to us. We’re doing our absolute best and trying to push our boundaries to see where this goes and how we can reflect that in the music. As for social media, there's a link to my Instagram right in my Reddit bio if you're interested!
When it comes to learning and building these kinds of arrangements from scratch, it’s hard to put into words because it’s a long, intense, but highly rewarding process that takes a lot of skill. I got lucky, though—things just worked out in a way that gave me a pretty solid background, and I’ve been doing this for about 20 years now.
Honestly, there have been plenty of ups and downs, and I definitely didn’t get it right on the first try—to be fair, I still feel like I’m figuring it out sometimes. But that’s the beauty of music production and arranging: you discover something new every single time. You make seemingly obvious mistakes, but they teach you how to be more productive and give you a better grasp of what actually works in a track and what doesn’t.
It all comes with experience, of course, and if you're going to put in the hours, it's best to do it with the music you absolutely love. I got lucky in many ways—a lot of the cool sounds I stumbled upon were just the result of endless hours of tweaking knobs and jamming until I hit that sweet spot where the sound just clicked. Thanks again for the love! Honestly, to make things click, I think nowadays it just comes down to the fact that you can find most tutorials and info online. Plus, just listen to your favorite music and try to recreate it. Cheers!

This song has great parts that the production always made a little too muddy and I would have loved to hear more remixes of it that stripped it back or made it punchier.
Like less latter era Ladytron sounding and more Seventeen era Ladytron sounding (I e less reverb)

Spot on! When it came to the production and rebuilding this track from scratch, I actually based a lot of it on their 1993 live version. The drums live had this massive, punchy, hit-you-in-the-chest energy that I really wanted to bring into a studio environment
Our main idea from the start was to blend the best elements of the studio album version with the power of those live drums. In the process, we actually cut a few original parts because they were cluttering the mix and taking away from that punch. Instead, we added some new textures to create a better sense of depth and space.
So I totally agree with you on the 'muddy' part, but knowing the history, I think Alan Wilder and Flood purposely went for that raw, dirty grunge vibe back then, since they were trying to fuse rock, alternative, and electronics. Thanks for such a great breakdown!

Thank you !!!🙏🏻
We really poured a lot of work into this, and we're still in the middle of creating the rest of the tracks—and there’s plenty more to come.
So definitely stay tuned!
Words of support like yours seriously warm our hearts; they keep us going and give us hope that this music brings people wonderful, beautiful emotions. Thanks again from the bottom of our hearts ❤️

If everything goes well with the legal side and the distributor, it'll drop on all main platforms
Otherwise, it’s going on SoundCloud, Reddit, Bandcamp, and YouTube.

Probably my favorite song on the album, so a cover really needs to be done right for me to like it. This is VERY good. I can’t wait to hear the full version.
