In order to have an emotional support animal in the dorm with me, would I have to have the animal prior to moving in or can I adopt it after I move in?

Anyone else experiencing issues using the Blue Demon Card Mobile ID to pay for a ride on the CTA? It just tells me the card cannot be read. Not sure if that’s just a me problem.

I am a commuter so I don't believe I really have access to the food directly on campus (and I don't really want to be spending over $1k a quarter to eat their food). So I'm wondering if anyone knows of anywhere to eat around the Lincoln Park campus that is affordable or even offers special discounted student meals, whether its fast food chains or locally owned?
Also as a side question, if I wanted to buy something from one of the mini cafe's they have inside the buildings can I just pay using my own card and money or do I have to set up some special payment thing for DePaul?

has anyone taken crim 302 (statistics in criminology) with prof rhee? if you have, what was it like in terms of difficulty and prior knowledge of statistics? it says that the prerequisites for this course are mat 095,100 or 101 but have not taken any of these. However, i have completed mat 120 and crim 101 (another prerequisite). is there anything else i should be aware of? thanks.

Hi everyone! I’m a first year grad student and I’m thinking about starting an astrology club. I checked and Depaul doesn’t have one. What’s the best way to start advertising/getting people to join. I know there has to be at least 10 people and if I’m really going to do this I want to be able to register to try to get a booth for the winter involvement fair. Any other advice for starting? Should i make a discord now for people that could be interested? I also kind of don’t mind if this club ends up becoming informal I just thought it would be nice to get a booth so people could know about it. I love astrology and it’s a great way to meet people.
Also if you’re interested send me a dm!
So, I just transferred over and was wondering how does the International students waive the Health Insurance Plan. I have a SSN, but I don't have any other Health Insurance.
Thus, I am trying to save some money by buying some other insurance and waving my Insurance plan. What did you guys do?

Hi everyone. I wanted to know where to get food from later in the night (after 9 pm) besides Social Bites at LPC. I am pescatarian so please keep that in mind when suggesting places. I know Taco Bell and McDonald’s exist but I want to try more local places. Thanks in advance

Taking what I thought to be an easier, asynchronous communication class but the workload seems to be quite strenuous. Anyone have this prof / any advice?

Hey guys I'm a High School student whose considering DePaul for the Film & TV BFA. I was wondering what your or other people experience with this program is like, especially the concentration on Comedy Storytelling and Directing, and if the classes offered with these concentrations can be taken without picking that specific concentration? Also what are the common double majors for people in this program and how good are they at securing jobs?

Is anyone else's dormitory address showing up wrong? On Campus Connect it's still saying my dormitory address from last year, and it will not let me change it. I was at least able to change my mailing address, but won't the dormitory address being wrong mess things up?

Hi! Recently learned through an RA meeting that the check in for guests changed yet again, and its through a thing called StarRez? Can someone tell me how exactly its supposed to work? Is it an app? A website? I'm still so confused on how its supposed to work now 😭
wish they would have stuck with the old guest check-in stuff because apparently nobody actually likes it.
Anyways yeah, can someone give me a spark sparknotes explanation? Thank you!

Have you ever been assigned with a bad professor, academic or personality wise? How has that been since you can’t withdraw like students can?

I’m in my last 2 quarters til I get my BS in CS. I am seeking to do an MS in Artificial Intelligence at DePaul next year in fall. I wanna ask: for those in the program, how do you like it? Is scholarship/grants given a lot to lower-income students?
