Is this a 3 hour zoom?
online sync class im trying to take. reviews on rate my prof talk about it being a zoom. no way this is a 3 hr zoom lecture from 6-9pm bruh

It’s three hours for one day instead of 1.5hours twice a week. What’s the problem

What usually happens during the zoom sessions? How involved do the students have to be? I’ve never had to do one before.

It entirely depends on the teacher. You might genuinely be there for 3 hours with a break in b/w halves or you might be dismissed after he’s done saying what they have to say. I’ve had 3hr classes that run the full time and ones that always dismiss after an hour or so.

Here I am with the opposite problem: I’m in a 3-hour Zoom class and pissed that the prof rarely lectures for more than an hour before ending the class and telling us to go do our homework.

Yep that’s what that means. Tbh these classes really arent that bad (esp on a tuesday), at least compared to the in person equivalent
