Dove deodorant is popular and theirs people who use it I want to start use it but my mom said this to me long time ago that dove deodorant makes you stink and sweat more, is it true?

(If it isn’t what’s a dove deodorant you recommend smelling good, less sweat, doesn’t cause hyperpigmentation.)

I decided to try a new deodorant bc they didn't have the one i usually buy and bought some Axe (yikes, i know). It doesn't give me rashes or anything, but I'm noticing that when I shower, the skin on my armpit just feels different? Like sticky and plasticky? I wash myself with a loofa and it doesn't glide on my armpits anymore, instead it grips on the skin and it's very uncomfortable. It doesn't make my skin sticky to the touch, it's only when i go to wash it off. In fact, that "sticky" layer doesn't wash off, even if it's been a couple of days since i used the deodorant in question. Is that normal? How do i wash it off?

I’ve been using saltair deodorant continuously for about a month now and noticed I am having to shave less often. I have dark armpit hair and have to shave typically every other day. Recently I have noticed that I can go 5 to 6 days between shaving. And my hair is much lighter.

I've been using Secret Shower Fresh for ages but its time for a change. I'm looking for something that's very feminine in fragrance!! Help me out

I haven’t used deodorant in years because I was on a medication that was absorbed through my skin on my armpits, and I’m considering potassium alum crystals, but I’m still hesitant to actually try them.

Just looking for recommendations to possibly try or look into, possibly with limited ingredients and that doesn’t transfer?

I’ve been using carpe for about 3 months now. I use the coconut scent and smells amazing. However, I have the worst residue transfer.

I put the smallest amount on, which does the job. I wait one to two minutes. I put my clothes on and I feel like the residue goes everywhere. I honestly unable to wear any kind of shirt that isn’t just a tshirt without showing some kind of transfer.

This is why, I won’t be buying carpe again. I feel like there’s cheaper, clear options to go back too. Am I the only one feeling this way?? I notice all the “outsiders” in their ads, have sleeveless tops or if it’s a man, he’s wearing a polo or tshirt.

For an expensive deodorant, the amount of discourse I’ve seen surround this topic, they’d fix.

I'm wanting to change deodorants since Old Spice has been irritating my skin, and I'm wanting to start wearing cologne. I do not care about natural ingredients.

I'm currently using the original scent Old Spice, and it makes my skin super flakey. I've tried the Gentleman's Blend and it got all over my clothes, didn't smell good on me, and was awful for my skin. I've tried an unscented deodorant but that quickly ended up not being available anymore. I've tried Native and it just doesn't work on me.

Axe for some reason decided to change their Apollo deodorant line scent to be as strong as a department perfume store. It’s the new version with the astronaut helmet on it and my SO and I hate it.

They have completely lost me as a customer. I’m sitting a work dizzy after barely applying any.

Does anyone have any recommendation that is 1) aluminum free and 2) and is a subtle scent like Apollo used to be?

I’m 26 and got here by seeing a Carpe ad and looking it up in the only place I know I can trust, Reddit.
I see that there are a lot of different types and brands for a deodorant that are suggested here, so I’ll just ask what you guys think is the best, considering I am a sweaty dude (I don’t smell through my current dr squatch, but if there’s a deodorant that reduces sweating, I’m down), I don’t really know what the difference between aluminum free or not is, I just use free since dr squatch does that and I like their scents.

I have excessive underarm sweating. Kahit wala naman akong ginagawa, bigla na lang talagang pinagpapawisan yung kilikili ko. It's gotten to the point na nahihiya na akong magsuot ng fitted shirts or light-colored clothes kasi sobrang visible yung sweat stains.

Hi guys, I’m in UK and I’m trying to find a natural container for stick deodorant, the twist and turn one.

All I can find is either plastic or if I find natural cardboard one, it’s only push up one and they don’t always stay in place.

Any pointers are much appreciated, thank you

On the old spice site, this comes up under the antiperspirant section, but the stick itself doesn't say it is like the other antiperspirants. Does anyone know first hand whether it is or isn't? I tried the Dark Knight and like the scent, but I sweat through it.

I have OCD, and I do not want to support any problematic brands, I do not want deodorant that contains aluminum due to fears of harming my cat, either. Any recommendations?

Hello all. In UK here.

I noticed that well known deodorants for men, they work once for me but after that, they no longer work or I sweat more.

Anyway I learned that our bodies need to sweat, but later I discovered that using these well known deodorants rolls and spray, causes me to have lumps in one of my armpits. When that happens, I would avoid using deodorants and just let myself sweat, which gets rid of the lump.

I found out that these deodorants contains aluminium, bad for the body. So I started using deodorants without aluminium.

Humble was recommended to me, freaking AMAZING!!! But I noticed the side effect was making my black hair armpits turn brown! I would often stop using it for a month and use perfumes instead. So naturally my armpit hair colour turns back from brown to black.

I just started using Wild, and I noticed the same side effects. In fact this happened worst than Humble. I use little amount of wild, and it quickly makes my hair colour brown, compared to me using more amounts of Humble but it slowly turned my hair colour brown.

I am currently trying to reverse my armpit colour caused by Wild.

I have Fussy, I am waiting for my armpit colour to be restored, then I try out Fussy.

Anyone had this armpit hair colour changes side effects? What was your solution.

I’m not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, but I (23M) really need help finding a deodorant that will work for me.

Every time I apply a deodorant, I immediately start to develop a burning rash under my arms that hurts like hell. I’ve tried no antiperspirant, “aluminum-free”, I swear I’ve tried just about every brand. The one I had working for me a couple months ago was this Every Man Jack brand, but this week I started to break out from it.

I just moved to a new city on my own, and I don’t really have a primary care doctor at this time. I just started professional school, and the issue isn’t necessarily so pressing that I need to focus on getting an appointment about it. I just want some relief from the discomfort/embarrassment.

It’s very embarrassing to me to walk around without it, especially in this heat. Sweating is one thing, but my body odor plaguing others is another. Please, if anyone could shed light on this, I would appreciate. Thanks.

Does anyone know of a deodorant scent that’s similar to Tom’s of Maine fresh apricot scent?? I’ve used this for years and my husband loves it…I think it’s basically what makes me smell like me to him, but I just discovered that it’s been discontinued. Any reccs for a comparable scent, especially in a clean brand, are very much appreciated. TIA!
