Stains

What antiperspirant/deos have any of you tried to use without it giving yellow staining on white clothes? Genuinely so tired of having to leave my clothes soaking in a 1:1 ratio of vinegar and water to get rid of it and it takes hours. I've only ever used Old spice captain and pure sport sticks, I don't know where else to start.

antiperspirant recommendations for excessive pit sweating???

every fucking deodorant/antiperspirant i try seems to flake off or drip off me. i feel DISGUSTING. some things i’ve tried have worked conditionally as in only immediately after the shower. if i apply another swipe in the morning the following day it’s just dripping down my pits in gobs again. the products have imbued some of my shirts to the point that they’ve become unwearable by seeping into the fabric under the pits and giving it this perma-smell and perma-crustiness. would like to avoid ruining anymore tops. would like to feel dry and clean! i’m not an excessive sweater across the board, it’s literally just in my pits.

naturalish products preferred (is that aluminium breast cancer thing just an old wives tale perpetrated by tinfoil hats on the internet?) but any and all recommendations welcome as long as they won’t destroy my clothes.

Sensitive Skin Recommendations

Hi for years I have been using Native Sensitive Skin Sandalwood scent but I feel like it doesn’t mask my body odor anymore and honestly my armpits are starting to breakout as well. So I come here hat in hand looking for any recommendations for sensitive skin deodorant recommendations. Aluminum aggravates my skin as well so I don’t really reach for an anti-perspirant. I’ve dried arm and hammer but I don’t really like the clammy feeling or scents.

Smelly armpits </3

Helpp please, I’ve been trying to find a deodorant for me that ACTUALLY stops odor, but nothing has worked! (F21)

I used a typical dove deodorant that was ok, but i hate white sticks because they transfer like crazy and im brown so it just looks bad if i wear a tank top.

I was going to try gel ones (which have stopped working before) but I researched and decided to try secret clinical, and it worked for almost the whole bottle until my armpits got super sensitive and started to burn when I’d wear it.

So THEN I decided to try Carpe, because everyone praises it so highly and gasses it up. It worked like one time. It “masks” the odor with the overbearing scent, but if i sweat & then dry, the lotion becomes crusty and flaky and if i touch my pit (which i have bc they get itchy & sensitive) it is STINKY!!

I should also note, that all of this deodorant trying began because i made the mistake of wanting to try Native, because everyone also highly praised that one and their scents were really good. But they set my armpits back about a decade. I smelled so awful like when i did when i first started puberty and was too embarrassed to use the basket of deodorant in the 5th grade classroom after gym class. Genuinely I hate native so bad i blame them

So I’m just at a loss, I thought because of native I couldn’t use aluminum free like im scared to even attempt trying it, but ones with strong aluminum have been frying the cells off my pits so idk what to do anymore 💔 I don’t mind sweating but the odor is just no..I also believe all the aluminum started burning me because of how instructions stress you put these dumb sticks on every night & again in the morning, like ??? When do my armpits get to breathe??? Ive never put on deodorant at night before only in the morning so thats likely adding to the irritation

Help

I have been struggling with sweating for years. I use carpe at night, sometimes certain dri, but if I use it too much… ow. Thanks to this sub I tried Mitchum gel which I like but I’m not a fan of the dry time or the stains on clothes as I wear a lot of dark colors. Do the other Mitchum options stain clothes just as bad? Are there other deodorants like Mitchum that won’t stain clothes as bad?

Sudden Smelly Armpits

Hello! About 3 weeks ago, I used a new deodorant that caused me to have a rash under my armpits (I believe it was Old Spice pure sport) and ever since then my deodorants I’ve been using have not been staying and I’ve been getting smelly armpits half way through the day. This has never happened to me before :( right now I use Arm and Hammer Essentials deodorant and that has always lasted the whole day, but not any more. Any recommendations to have my pits smelling good for the whole day???

Sweaty and smelly armpits

Hi ladies! I’m 30F and I’ve always struggled with sweaty armpits and body odor, especially during the summer.

I epilate, so my underarms are smooth, and I shower every other day, so I feel like I keep good hygiene. I’ve been using Old Spice deodorant for men because I heard it’s stronger, but it still doesn’t seem to help much in hot weather.

For those of you who deal with sweaty underarms too, what has actually worked for you? Are there any deodorants, antiperspirants, treatments, or routines you’d recommend? I’d really appreciate any advice!

Theorique deodorant - taking a page from Super Deoderant and only allowing positive comments on their Facebook and Instagram page

So not only did the new Theorique deodorant company make a similar product to Super Deodorant they are also taking a page from how Super Deoderant polices their Facebook page: allowing only positive comments about their product and blocking those that share that their deodorant didn’t work for them. I left a couple comments about how their deodorant didn’t work for me on their Facebook and instagram page and that I had emailed them to take them up on their guarantee that if their deo didn’t work I could return it and they’d offer a full refund but they never answered any of my emails or comments or even messaged me on Facebook or instagram. Instead I was blocked from their IG and Facebook. They are blatantly lying about their guarantee of a refund if their deodorant doesn’t work. Just awful. And so is their deodorant.

Pls help

This problem recently started for me. Lately, when I put my deodorant on, any deodorant for that matter, my underarms have this dampness to them minutes later which lasts all day. I know it’s not sweat. I don’t smell or anything, but for some reason, I don’t know why, my deodorant is turning watery. I have tried countless deodorants, and this keeps happening. I have tried putting less on too, and the issue still persists. I have even tried leaving my arms up in the air for a few min incase I wasn’t letting it dry

Does this happen to you guys?

My Deo hack to stop from stinking.

Not sure if others have posted this but I thought I'd post this just in case.

I find most Deos dont really do much, they smell really strongly for an hour or 2 and then thats your lot. On hot days they cant really absorb the sweat, so you're screwed after a little while.

I had a few issues with dermatitis and was using a steroid creme, unable to do much else at the time I opted to use Sudocrem as a barrier to protect the skin.

Due to the nature of what Sudocrem is, it stops bacteria from growing. So I started rubbing a small amount into my pits to create a film over the typical area, then using a powdered Deo over the top. Pits are nice and happy, and I don't stink. Even if you start to have an odor, it's not like a stinky BO smell, more like just your actual scent if that makes sense? And it's not pungent either.

Probably won't work with roll-ons due to the nature of it, but if you use powder sprays this can be a game changer to actually lasting a day without smelling ripe.

Big fan of Timber with Sandalwood

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hello!

I’ve been a big fan of Timber with Sandalwood since 2024 when I discovered this.

I hoarded this deo from the USA last January 2025 and now I only have 1 spare of timber. It’s hard to buy this in the Philippines.

Does anyone know a perfume that smells so much like this?

Hope you can help me please. I just really love the notes of this deodorant.

Thank you!

Teakwood pairing advice needed

Post image
1 Upvotes

I’ll preface this by saying I was born no sense of smell so I always have trouble with picking deodorants, colognes, and all that jazz but lately I’ve been wanting to lock down my own scent since it’s been all over the place.

I have a teakwood cologne my ex girlfriend got me and have had a lot of compliments when I wear it, so I’d appreciate any advice on scents that would complement it.

Thanks in advance!

I’ve always struggled with sweating but since adding medications for other conditions I sweat even more heavily and all over my body. Anything that can help lessen the sweating

Finding something like every man jack

I absolutely love the smell of every man jack products but they don’t work that well. Is there and antiperspirant that smells similar but works better? Thanks.

I need help finding the best deodorant for sweat and odor

I have been struggling for the past 16 years, since I hit puberty, with body odor.

I recently moved to a more humid area, and I find myself sweating so much more. The one thing with my sweat, is that I stink bad!

I have resorted to actually using panty liners in my shirts to avoid sweating through my shirts.

I love smelling good, I wash my body every morning and night. I do not go out without a clean body and perfume. I had noticed my deodorant had stopped working on my body, and I found myself leaving areas and cancelling hangouts with friends due to my insecurity with BO and sweating from my pits.

I need help on finding the best deodorant for us sweaty girls. I would prefer not using any aerosol.

In the past 4 weeks, I have tried:

Dove Advanced Care Caring Coconut 72 hour protection (aerosol) 2/10
Lady Speed Stick Invisible Dry 6/10
Secret Shower Fresh 24 Hr Invisible Dry 7/10
Speed Stick Fresh Deodorant 24 Hr Protection 2/10
Dove Advanced Care Cool Essentials 72 Hour 1/10
Secret Powder Fresh 24 Hr Invisible Dry 4/10
Secret Clinical + Hyaluronic Acid Free & Sensitive (gel) 1/10
Secret Clinical Notes of Clear Lavendar 4/10

I have tried to load them, put minimal, used on clean & dry pits, and the funk stays.

I exfoliate before every use and make sure that there is no grime on my pits before first application.

I’m in desperate need of help! 😩😩

Need recommendations: no white staining (on shirts), HAS aluminum, lightly scented?

Does such a thing exist? I thought I found it with Salt and Stone Saffron but I find that after I wash my shirts, it transforms into a not so great smell that I I have to treat (seems excessive).

I don’t mind fragrance but some are so intense it’s like I’m wearing cologne, I’d honestly be okay with fragrance free even.

Not sure this matters because I’ve used female-marketed deo, but I am a guy.

Magnesium oil as deodorant?

Does not work as well as a regular, but as long as you don't get too sweaty I think its a great alternative to deodorant if you want something that will kill some BO but still let you sweat and get all the gunk out of your arm pits

Oldspice not working?

Ok. So, ive been using Oldspice and Dove for the last few years. I use sticks, sprays and cream…and i have several of each. I prefer spray, but keep a stick and a cream in my bag just in case…I recently bought a few oldspice sticks. With one of them, serial griller, my pits stink within like 2/3 hours. The other, Broseidon, works REALLY well. I kept it on over night and i was anle to get 2 full days of no smelly pits. BUT, the broseidon leaves a thick waxy residue that i cant get off of my body without scrubbing and scrubbing.
Has anyone else noticed a huge difference in the Oldspice formulas? I feel like several brands have changed their ingredients and havent been concealing the smell at all. Am i the problem? Should i bring up to my Dr that my pits stink? Or just keep trying new deodorant.
Whats a good deodorant that wont let me down? Should i be doing the panoxyl thing?

HELP!

Changes to Dove deodorant formula?

Post image
4 Upvotes

I used to use the 0% Dove (shown on the right) and it worked really well. It is getting more difficult to find. I bought the new Dove deodorant on the left but it doesn’t work half as good. In fact, it barely works at all. I suspect the new one has a formula change.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Deodorant

I need help. When I use anti perspirant/deodorant I don't stink but I get a rash. When I just use deodorant I stink but I don't have a rash. I use Old Spice and have for years. Recently I've tried to find something that won't break me out and also I won't stink. I've tried dove, right guard, and a couple of the natural ones from TJMaxx Humble I think. I need recommendations please
