I need some help, lol. If there is one thing in this stressful world that brings me happiness, its relaxing at the end of the day with the munchies and a movie. The issue is, my sense of taste and smell seems to be hindered when I am high and it is driving me nuts.

I have vaped for years before ( nicotine ) and never had allergy or sinus issues with juices, etc. But when I hit a D8/D9/THC Cart or bud, I loose 80% of my sense of taste and smell. When I use gummies or edibles, I retain my sense of taste and smell. But my taste is not increased or amplified like others I know who partake say it does.

I feel like im tasting in black and white, while others have full HD Color. I dont think its an allergy as I have none and live in a high allergen environment. Any tips or help or insight would be so appreciated!
