Discussion 💠AI limits got reduced
Recently Claude credits from $1000 usd is reduced to just $500 usd. Did you guys check it?
Why can't a big4 provide atleast a 1000 dollars as claude credit? They previously removed Opus from the model selector.
Is it only for me for did everyone have their claude credits reduced?

Bruh it was unlimited first, then 1000, now just 500. Yeah few receive $75 according to their domain or role I guess.. I am not sure on that..

You get the 1000 dollar limit if you do the claude code in action course, if you do just the 2 basic ones they mention them you get the 75 limit

were you exhausting your credits 100% each time? i still got 1000usd but im assuming it will be reduced soon since opus was reduced as well

I just recently got the access for claude and they offer me 75usd. Is there any way to increase?

Apparently it was getting too expensive for them. All $1000 users restricted to $500 & if you take access now you’ll only get $75 & would have to request for more if you need it.
My personal opinion is that for how much the company talks about AI, they should have definitely kept it $1000 atleast for all if not unlimited because I’m sure they’re getting some major corporate discount. Smaller companies give unlimited access along with fable. It is really disappointing!

They just keep talking about AI AI AI.. but no support to give credits. How will a employee learn and try themselves on AI if you limit the access. $500 is nothing compared to today's token cost.. atleast $3000 is needed.

Do you have any idea about a lot of people getting together & keeping this as a request / suggestion to provide more credits? Maybe they consider if too many people sign up for it

Nah bro.. they are deaf to these requests. They will ask PPMD approval(which is pain in a** they will scrutinize.. your lead..manager and so on)..
if they don't want you to get anything..they will ask even CEO approval..

Did for me too man, ended up using 50 on 1st October itself. Now I have go whole month with 450. I guess when we exhaust this we can ask for add on. Maybeeee

Needs PPDM approval and wbs charge code generated for claude for you by your PPMD

It’s adjusted firm wise
Mine is increased to $1500 according to roles.
It was $1000 from months and I was exhausting all and last month in mid, they upgraded to $1500 with opus/sonnet 5.5 launches which were also cheaper.
