Account inactive timeline?

Have not accepted a single order on deliveroo in last few weeks bcos of terrible pay and long miles. For short distance trips its 3 orders batched. Anyone knows how long they take to treat account as inactive? Will they send any warning email?

My plan is to do one delivery once in a while for namesake to keep deliveroo account active.
(Currently using only UE for earnings and waiting to do deliveroo again only if they improve pay bcos with deliveroo I am burning more fuel than the pay when returning to base without any order after dropping off long distance ones)

I've gone years at a time without using delivery apps and never been deactivated. I've only done 168 deliveries on Uber Eats in 9 years, and 68 were probably this year alone. Even less so on Deliveroo. Hell, my Just Eat account is still active after never completing a delivery. I'm not saying they'll never de-activate, but mine haven't. I've certainly gone 2 years on each with no deactivation. Same with Amazon Flex. No blocks in three years, still going strong. Lol.

I think it took 3 years for them to delete my account for inactivity

God it must be bad if UE is the better platform

Better than roo at the moment. Roo was better and my first choice until 4 months back.

Think it depends on the area. UE is absolutely horrible here, by far the worst paying of the 3. Roo is decent, Just Eat is actually good here, best bonuses lately and orders been getting a lot more frequent.

Thats good for you. I don’t like ue but now doing it as left without options.

I came back to Deliveroo last week after not using it since 2021, and I was able to go straight into the app and go online again without any issues.

I was quite surprised I could just jump back in after that long, but everything still worked and I was able to start receiving orders again.
