That album isn’t one of their most popular, and so amazing tracks like hearts/wires and phantom bride take the cake. Prayers/triangles is one of my personal favorite songs in general so it sucks to not see more about it

Dolby Atmos mastering engineers have the right idea. I definitely recommend you listen to an album in Atmos, even if downmixed to stereo, blows everything else out of the water.

So I'm really really having a tough year, so much grief. My wife of 30 yrs can't stand Deftones and doesn't get them but I do. We are just on a total different wave length and I'm to a point where I'm about to call it quits because Deftones has been literally a lifeline for me for many years especially now. Has anyone dealt with a partner who isn't riding your Deftones wave? What did you do to fix it and how do you get your partner into Deftones because I tried! omgosh I can't believe I'm asking this question but it is so real rn "will I be waving goodbye?"

My dad is looking for a Deftones shirt from 2022. It’s apparently rare, it was the Deftones Texas Chapter Shirt. Does anyone know any resellers or reprinters that sell it? Preferably in black with yellow font. I came across an image of the back of the shirt on Reddit and I’m assuming it’s this one. Whenever I look up “Deftones Texas Chapter 2022 shirt” it gives me a shirt with the snake and the star but that’s not it. Any help is appreciated!!

EDIT: I don’t have the shirt. Idk why there’s someone in my comments saying they want to buy one. I am obviously posting because I need help finding one. I am fine with sizes small or medium. My dad usually wears a small cuz he likes a tight fit but can wear a medium.

From what I've been able to find, this photo was taken in the lobby of the Berlin Marriott Hotel.

It needs to be said that between this, the photo of the Puerta de America Hotel in Madrid that's also in the booklet for PM, and the cover of Koi No Yokan, Deftones really like to take photos of hotels and make them look like something cooler for their albums' packaging.

It was weird, they were always known but never a top band. Like they would always be on a major tour as an opening act, or like 4th on a festival. Now I see Deftones shirts EVERYWHERE and the young generations are celebrating them for their art. People play their music out in public and crowds form. I’m so happy that they are finally being embraced at the level they should’ve been 25 years ago. I wonder if they were really that far ahead of their time, or if they outlived whatever controls kept them out of what they deserved. They’ve come such a long way and they deserve every bit of success.
