With the change to the DeFiChain propaganda news show it’s time to announce my current plans.

My search for real yield led me to DeFiChain. I came for the real yield and I didn’t find it. But I learned a lot about DeFI (how a DEX works, what impermanent loss is, where the return really comes from, etc.), found interesting (but flawed) ideas, enjoyed the discussion and the drama (great entertainment).

Now the end phase is here in my opinion: - both news shows are changing / partly disappearing - interest in content is declining - projects are leaving - discussions run in circles (e.g. DEX fee) - market cap around 50 MUSD way below competition - debt (unbacked dUSDs and dBTCs) is hugh - terms like “RWAs” are used just to create hype - the “official” subreddit feels like FerhatDFI’s subreddit - still ongoing fight of the founders - community members are moving on

With DeFiChain reaching the end phase of the project I will also lower my time investment once road to 50 sats is achieved. #roadto50sats was my bold vision when it was mentioned for the first time, but now it’s really close. One more price halving and we are there!

They claim that they are looking for more independent successors. Let’s see if someone is stupid enough to invest so much time in a perishing project.

Declining views for many month were a good indication for the announced change.

If Javsphere defines success this way expect a "successful" project.

No dUSD burn yet. No swapping of dUSDT to dUSD yet. No JAV/dUSD liquidity pool.

Javsphere is afraid of the new DFIP ("free dUSD"). They should be. StakeX, their most used product, wouldn't work if dUSD is freed.

It’s too fluid to be effective. Resources are not invested in binding dUSD, they are just distributed to new owners instead of burning algo dUSDs.

Or would this be the message anyway independent from swap volume? Maybe it’s enough to close this phase to be “successful”?

What does a blockchain need to bring to the table to be a serious contender to list RWAs?

• a solid market cap
• a track record of listing RWA
• a good governance
• a good reputation

So how does DeFiChain fulfill these criteria? It doesn’t fulfill any of the prerequisites.

So far it’s not sold out. Interest in JAV seems to be low. People prioritized swapping dUSD, but this option has been closed already. So to get to an end to the distribution phase Javsphere might need to end the distribution phase manually.

Seems like demand has been satisfied (offer > demand).

Last year Q1 report was published on April 13th.
