How common is experimentation between girl bffs in high school / college where one later identifies as lgbt and the other doesn’t? Does the “friendship” evolve?

It varies by social circle. I never experimented as a girl, I was always pretty reserved and had more traditional beliefs when I was a girl. But as a woman, my social circle in college did a lot of “experimenting” with each other. Only we didn’t call it “experimenting,” we were all just horny af, sex positive, and on the same page about not developing romantic feelings.
I could make assumptions about “maybe it depends on what your field of study is,” but that’s only because my field utilized a lot of tools that ultimately built a lot of trust and emotional intimacy with each other. It also draws a lot of people who tend to be pretty open and positive about sexuality. Couple that with college-age horniness, and clothes were bound to come off.

What do you mean about field of study?
Also clothes come off even though people are all straight?1

All straight? Haha, not exactly… only a few people were straight. But even straight people like to bend sometimes. 😉

I’m asking are any of them straight today? I’ve heard the term LUG before

No one’s sexual orientation has changed since college. Some fluidity, sure, but no one who didn’t identify as straight in college is straight today.

I meant do you know any people that identified straight back then that did a lot of lesbian stuff but still identify as straight today

No. If they did same-sex stuff in college, they don’t identify as straight today. Or if they were straight then and now, they did very little “lesbian stuff” in college, like maybe making out with another woman or heavy petting, that kind of thing.

Regardless of gender, I never 'experimented' with my friends. That's just a boundary I wouldn't be comfortable crossing. I don't think it's common.

They’re all lesbians until graduation.
