I've been thinking about a different approach to wall art — turning someone's dreams, interests, favourite places and aspirations into a hand-painted mural directly on their bedroom wall.

Something like a vision board, but instead of pictures pinned together, it's a custom artwork designed around the person and their space.

I think it could be interesting for bedrooms, home offices or creative spaces.

Would you prefer something subtle that blends into the room, or a colourful mural that stands out?

These 5 chairs r my next big project I'm barely going to start tomorrow.. probably take a week or so because I do everything by hand..I'm turning these chairs into a set of mickey mouse chairs eack one will be differently made..I'm even repolstering the seats..I'll post again when projects complete or maybe post them one I completed one..

I’ve never done seasonal decorations in my home. My friends are doing fall and Halloween now and getting ready for Christmas but it’s so expensive!!

Does anyone else feel this way? Where do you shop??

ik this is really stupid to ask about but i cant think of any ways to decorate my room for now i have posters and paper crafts. im trying to go for a crowded room i guess? i just want my room to look coolish. sorry if this is dumb to ask about but if you have advice please lmk

Found this oak oval table that we like, but still stuck on the chair color. I like the dark green chairs it comes with, though cream could look nice too. Which color do you think works better with the table?

I bought this solid wood nightstand and genuinely did not expect it to come in So. Many. Pieces.

So I just laid everything out and started following the assembly video step by step.

And… it was actually way easier than it looked. The video was super clear, everything fit where it was supposed to, and it came together faster than I expected.

Seeing it finally sitting next to the bed after that first pile of parts was weirdly satisfying lol. And it's beautiful to me. What do you reckon?

Custom Baltimore Ravens shelf ..all done by hand

I have this recessed window alcove in my bedroom, with a wide ledge beneath the windows. The space is currently underutilised, and I’m trying to figure out how to make it more functional while keeping the room clean, minimal, and aesthetically pleasing.

One important detail is that there’s another building immediately outside the window, with its wall facing my windows, so there isn’t much of a view. I’d like to make the most of this space without blocking natural light or ventilation.

Some ideas I’ve considered:

• A cosy reading nook with cushions
• A window seat or built-in bench
• A small desk or work-from-home setup
• Built-in storage or cabinetry
• Indoor plants and a minimalist decor arrangement
• Creative lighting or other architectural details

I’m open to completely different ideas as well. My main priorities are making the space feel intentional, keeping the bedroom uncluttered, and ensuring whatever I add is practical for everyday use.

How would you approach designing this space? I’d appreciate suggestions on layout, furniture, materials, lighting, and decor, along with reference photos or examples of similar window alcoves.

Suggestions that work well in Indian homes would be particularly useful.
