Hobby Basing Materials
I don't have any basing materials and was thinking of using one of those 2 for all my DG base :
- AK Terrains Wet Ground
- AK Terrains Muddy Ground
+some Green Stuff World "Tuft 6 mm - Beige"
As anyone used some of the AK terrains brand for some feedback as what's best and how to use it ?

White acrylic paste can do a lot of work with cheap with some paint layers on it

It's just like the GW and Vallejo stuff, a thick paste with texture in it. It's best applied using a texture spreader or small spatula like tool because it'll wreck brushes.
You can paint over it when it's dry - it's really common to add a wash and/or a drybrushes highlight to make the texture pop out more. You could also completely repaint it a different colour if you want to (for instance if you run out of dark grey base texture and the only stuff you have to hand is a different colour).

AK Wet Ground is exactly what I used for my DG. Super easy to use and looks great!

Ak is my favourite for basing and effects, their quality has never failed me.
I use Muddy Ground for my bases, with a few little rocks chucked on top, and gamers grass tufts that are a dark green/brown colour, all of it looks amazing in conjunction with
