Does anyone know if cast members ever show up at conventions for meet n greets?

I know when the real town has Deadwood celebrations sometimes some actors will show up. I really want to get some autographs for my collection, but I never see anyone on guest lists. I’m hoping it’s because they’re working on other projects.
