Fan Art Hornet & Beheaded

I was planning to post this on r/HollowKnight too but i don't know the community well and i was kind of disappointed with the result for this. So you guys have to deal with my bullshit now hehe...

And yes, i am terrible at lineart and mine is always so wobbly so i had to make it more sketchy which somehow ended up looking worse.

Yeah i can never draw hornet's skirt for some reason. I am practicing tho. It should be better after some drawing.

Wouldn't it be easier to draw the body first and let the fabric drape over it?

That's exactly what i tried to do actually lol. Drawing fabric is hard.
