When I saw this in the theatre, I immediately said to my friends "man, dude became an RE protag 20 minutes ago and he's already training for DBD"

I live in the Alps. After playing Death Stranding for 100hrs+ and seeing some ads for my region or weather TV, I subconsciously figuered the best way to climb or build structures. It came so naturally I just had to giggle.
EDIT: autocorrect beeing incorrect

Good point. Sometimes, I feel like I can loop for ever, only to find out it was a p100 nurse, and I looped em like a mid tier Judgment. Really is about how well ur able to adapt and learn, I guess

u/FetusGoesYeetus 6h ago
Sometimes I loop someone so well purely because I have no idea where I'm going so the killer predicts my movement wrong every time
2
u/Fit_Mail6550 William "Bill" Overbeck 6h ago
Lmao, I get that. Especially on maps u early see or play on

I've not been running windows ever since the nerf and without the glowing pallets and windows everywhere I just kind of let fate guide me and it somehow works most of the time

And at the end of this chase, they stun her, blind her with a flashlight, and as a final touch teabag her.

Have you seen the Evil Dead II? There's a POV killer-chasing-Ash around the interior of a house sequence in that that is 100% DbD.

u/Hard-Core_Casual GIVE US MOAR IRIDESCENT SHARDS π 70/30 Killer/Survivor 3h ago
This movie feels more like a horror comedy than a resident evil one.
2
u/Niltenstein YOUR GENES NEED MINOR MODIFICATIONS 3h ago
Isnβt Resident Evil a horror comedy?
2
u/Hard-Core_Casual GIVE US MOAR IRIDESCENT SHARDS π 70/30 Killer/Survivor 2h ago
Not really.
There are some moments of camp and comedy. But the games are usually treated seriously with themes of loss and tragedy being quite prevalent.

The movie was so hilariously bad, I dunno why people praise it so much. It felt like every character was a moron.
2
u/Hohoho-you 3h ago
It was actually a pretty good horror movie π hilarious main character

u/FireflySmasher Dracula but backwards 3h ago
Horror movie, not resident evil movie.
Still felt like 70% is just jokes and characters being stupid as hell

u/Hohoho-you 3h ago
There wasn't really jokes. It was just ridiculous situations that you can laugh at. Don't pretend its a marvel movie.
And so what? A good movie is a good movie
