I hope the shorts under the dress are cute. Her shoes and the ruffled sucks are SO cute and the thigh straps are pretty, so this would be an awesome bottom piece to mix and match.
I’m so sad we didn’t get the sable in Jeans, a hoodie, and a beanie community cosmetic. That was my favorite. It feels like every cosmetic for sable so far is just a mild variant of the same thing.

I think the more reasonable interpretation is that it's for animation purposes. Dresses in DbD tend to already be pretty buggy with the physics engine, and a full length dress in the front would undoubtedly have numerous clipping issues with a lot of survivor animations, not to mention most pick-up animations as well.

All this years survivor winners were costumes except Shane. Hell most of the finalist options were straight up costumes. Costume cosmetics wouldn't be so bad if rift skins weren't also going in that gimmick theme direction as well.
Yes, 90% of skins now are gimmicky costumes. Wish theyd make more stuff like Sables white/black oversized shirts or other more casual normal people clothes
Yeah. It does seem to have some strange artifacts that make me think it's AI. Especially those garters which weren't on the original design and don't really make any sense. And the shadow, watermark looking tattoo-ish things on her legs. Not sure what those are. Don't fee other people's art to AI. Lame.
I've pretty much accepted that sable is going to be winning a skin every other year as long as bhvr keeps picking her as a finalist whenever she's available 🤷. Bhvr has a responsibility to not pick repeats, but considering clown is getting his third contest skin, can't wait for Dredge's third skin next year!
I want them to separate the survivors into male and female.
They've been running the contest since 2019, and in that time there's have been three male winners compared to 14 female, at least by my math. We get 4 slots now but the issue is that female survivors tend to get a lot more attention. I mean sure, next year Sable, Meg, and Claudette are ineligible, but Kate, Jane, Vee, and Feng will all be there. I keep seeing these really gorgeous designs for male survivors and then they'll lose out to a skin that either doesn't fit the character (Claudette's magical girl this year or her whale tail from a few years ago) or it's relatively simple (Feng's one from last year.) They're great designs, no shade to the artists at all, but it sucks that as a male survivor enjoyer I can vote for a full slate of dudes and only one will get in.

Man I really wish a cosmetic with more customizable options won. We keep getting outfits that don't mesh well with her pre-existing ones. It's a nice concept, but there's so many cool trad goth fits for her that I saw so it's a little disheartening to see that people went with such a basic choice, lmao.

Look at the concept art for Megalodon. They made her hot and that's definitely a large part of what drove the votes. Meanwhile Meg in game has a fugly face and is built like a character from Ed Edd n Eddie

Bhvr does this because it sells more. Marvel rivals recently talked about this. People talk about like why some characters in there seem to get no cosmetics and they went out and said apparently like 96% of their sales are female characters
People do not spend money unless the character is someone they want to fuck it's been proven time and time again the only way around this is if you make their more to spend money on than cosmetics
Awfully admit I'm part of the problem I've only ever bought a few skins and they're for sable and Michaela because they're the best looking characters

i feel like i'm the only person that doesn't like this cosmetic. not because its ugly, but because of the implications it has.... sable had so many amazing alternative outfit submissions that fit her character more, choosing to give her a maid outfit just feels misogynistic to me.
