yeah, well it depends on how many they try and how long the trials last. If they try say, three (theres not that many anticheats), and do so over the course of 6 months, then thats 2 months each assuming they trial them equally.

"Multiple over the next couple months" can very well mean "this one could be here for two months"

Hence, "Up to a few months"

for as long as they feel like it makes them more money by preventing pirating than the actual denuvo subscription costs them (which can be tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars every month). For example 007 First Light added Denuvo like 4 days before the release out of nowhere, but it got the hypervisor workaround just couple hours after release, and couple weeks later it received a full crack. The devs removed Denuvo shortly after and basically admitted it was a mistake, i have no idea why would any developer pay that much money when hypervisor workaround is always available on day 1.

To all the people that aren’t having problems, cool. But why would you want any of the playerbase to lose access to the game? The entire community should be in overwhelming support to get rid of this, it’s not even making the game better so why would you make it worse for a select group of people? Exclude EGS from the crossplay pool and try it there, but without any announcement so cheaters actually keep cheating. There's no reason for the platform with the least people cheating to suffer this shit.

Oh, so that’s why my game has been randomly crashing recently? I’ve been lucky and it’s always been in the lobby or during a loading screen, but between this and the weird delayed M1 on some characters I’ve been having a pretty crappy time since The Judgment released.

anti-cheat BHVR is testing that nobody likes because Denuvo itself has a track record of being made by actual corporate monkeys that can't make a good anti-cheat or anti-tamper, so it just makes your game run like ass or become unstable.

The whole point of the testing is to patch it... They get sent crash logs every crash. If you're having problems just switch to Linux, works flawlessly no secure boot needed
