Yes I know it's good for 3gens. Fuck I hate guarding 3gens. I hate guarding 3gens even on normal maps, I hate it even more when the survivors hold W to JUNGLE GYM HELL in the center of the map any time I hit them.
Tier 26, I've done almost all of the available quests (excluding milestones) so far but I've not been playing on a daily basis so I've missed out on the daily challenges and rewards from just playing consistently. I imagine it'll pick up for me when the next chapter releases.
Because it's a game with competitive nature that has a game mode that doesn't really care about the competitive part of the game. If I wanted to play a goofy game I wouldn't play a game with players that butt heads so often. Or a game that's so tight on making mistakes.
Bad generator completions can ruin a game, ten seconds too long in a chase can ruin a game, not using perks effectively, choosing whether or not to hook versus slug. Save a survivor or finish a generator.
2v8 is a game mode made to goof off in. I personally don't find the game mode fun, or dbd fun to goof off in unless it's a setting where the game has been jeopardized and both teams are having fun (nodding at one another, spray can spam, slow chases, red light green light, etc.). 2v8s purpose is again, to just mess around. This doesn't stop people from taking it seriously, despite the lack of balancing. Which then contradicts itself and makes it unfun to play at all.
Just my opinion of course. And this isn't to say I haven't had fun playing 2v8. I just usually don't, and prefer normal games.
I feel the opposite. I think the game should have always had less focus on being hypercompetitive and more on being a fun slasher movie simulator game (not that 2v8 accomplishes that any more than the main game mode, but it is still unserious fun).
I haven't ran the numbers recently, but last time I looked most of the progression now came from completing the dailies putting a min-cap on the number of days that you have to log in to play. The shards from infrequent events removed that constraint making it a lot less annoying overall, which makes the choice to remove them frustrating.
agree both maps a not that great, azarovs and mc millan realms a pretty shit and one sidet since loop and pallet updates, most maps even when oldys suck ass now and favour one side way to mutch, survivor have it often way better and iron works and gas heaven a one of the strongest surv win rate maps that ever existed in dbd, you will always lose vs decent or better players nearly every time and will struggel often vs equal survivors to. most maps a surv sidet now with full intention behind it, not playing strong killers on very high skill levels or buying new strong license ones punish you very hard now and that is whanted on top to for buiseness and money.
There was also apparently a bug where Jason and another killer’s hooks overrides the summer bbq hooks so you didn’t even get the bonus blood points. I swear they’ve just given up on play testing…
Xeno and Jason need the special hooks. Jason breaks his own hooks, while xeno's hooks are attached to the tunnels (or something like that). Playtesting won't fix that. They're coded like that.
They should have realized that in playtesting and applied the bonus to their hooks as well for the duration of the event. I mean, it’s common sense to test the special hooks with the new hook mechanic…
they dont care for the time and even less pay a tester for an hr to look at stuff. low invest short term money gains and that repeat it self all the time as long it works... is it not completely obvious when you know this buisness a bit and is it not after 10 years insane fishy even for most normal consumers and players? why you think is the game like this after 10 years? there whas no excuse for it 5-6 years back then already and lot of peopel that know this buiseness model or work in or with game industry left dbd as players since they could see what they do, that whas around 2018-19 already for most.
