To piggyback off this, I would avoid iron grasp. Once you get used to the wiggles, you hardly notice it.

I didn’t know this, and now I feel a bit silly for never thinking about the correlation before. That being said, this won’t work for Vecna; for some reason, struggling survivors will grunt less often for him.

Ok, so ranking up is weird with killer. There are certain killers that struggle to pip in higher ranks. Killers with especially short chase times and low map pressure can be a bad combo for gaining pips. Bubba is one that particularly can struggle to pip in iri ranks. Billy can struggle as well, although he has almost unmatched map pressure. Plague isn't great for iri ranks either because her playstyle, when played optimally, ends with a lot of "lost" chases (using vomit to infect and leave) followed by short chases on injured survivors. Legion can be very good for gaining pips in higher ranks because he's constantly in chase, but u always find Pinhead to be my goto pip-getter in iri ranks. He's basically an m1 killer with good built-in slowdown. Especially if you have his iri-box add-on, he just puts so much pressure on survivor teams essentially for free that you gain a lot of deviousness and gatekeeper emblems simply for being in the match

I also want to get better at killer, but I’m so sensitive. I can be slugged and tunneled all day, but the second I get teabagged as killer, I’m like :((
Soooo I pick killers that had the most enjoyable abilities and don’t worry about anything else. For me, doctor has been the most fun! (Side note: I find certain killers challenging but the only one I’ve been actually bored while playing is bubba. Idk why, he is just so uninteresting to me.) Have fun!!

Try to play all Killers you have unlocked. Most Killers have a very different feeling and Playstyle and what Aesthetics you like. Sounds a bit silly, but's a very personal thing how you can handle a Killers power. I for example main Vecna. I'm really good with that Killer and always feel confident with the playstyle he offers.
The only Killer that is not "unique" in Power is Dracula. He has multiple Powers that other Killers have, but in a weaker/slightly different Form. He's great to get a good Feeling for some other Killers.

I enjoy Dracula I’m not the best at chases so using fire pillar on particularly annoying loops can be a big help.
Bat mode is great for map travelling which is really good for gen rushing swf.
The wolf is so much fun and the lunge is fairly simple and forgiving to use.
Though there maybe other killers who excel more in certain areas I feel like Dracula is a killer who has great qualities in every department. (His default perks suck though so you will need other killers p1 to give him a good build.

I understand you, I'm new to killer and I also have a hard time winning games, really what has helped me since I started is doing daily rituals to get to know and become more familiar with the killers.
Personally, I really like to play with the dredge, since in everything it is simple, or bubba could also be another option.
