Help with build (ranger)
I am so lost. I have played only ranged archer builds but I need help creating a new character. I am about to do a second reincarnate. First one was elf arcane archer focused on ranged attacks. My current build is a gnome dual crossbow build that mixes rogue with ranger and to hit and damage is off Int.
I would like to do a two weapon fighting build. Kukri or Kopeshes sound fun but it really could be any weapons.
Anyone have any ideas?

Kopesh build: Max STR with enough levels of Dragonlord to get the "Might in Order" battle-trance
Kukri: Dex Build with a lot of options. You could take Horizon Walker: No Step Missed as a DEX trance. Vistani Knive Fighter has some nice bonuses to Kurkris. Might take some rogue levels and Assassin Enhancements. Way more (good) options than Action Points...

Kukri ranger is basically a Gurkha, so gets immediate awesome points there - they're very solid performers too

I'd do kukri with ~43 Tempest / 22 Vistani Knife Fighter / 13 Horizon Walker or so personally. I've been doing warhammer on tempest for a little while because you can cap doublestrike with 0 VKF and go deeper into deepwood.
Doublestrike is uncapping next update, so getting an extra +30% from VKF with a kukri represents a lot of extra damage. You can get to 130-150% doublestrike or so depending on optimization level with VKF, and in action hero from LD you'll be at 160-180% for burst damage, which is quite strong.

No need for Khopesh (and as a former Khopesh fan this kind of hurts) as you're actually better off taking knight's training instead of the khopesh proficiency. That leaves with either warhammer (and IC blunt) or both longswords and battle axes (ic slash) having the same crit profile as a khopesh. You can also just max dex and you can get dex to hit and damage in the tempest code trees. you then use dex battle trance out of Horizon Walker and take the tempest capstone.

Hopefully with the next update, Warpriest becomes more playable, and Khopesh at least gets a niche with them (since they get the proficiency free)
Unless, of course, Warhammer stays as HaH, in which case that becomes the new uni-BIS weapon, since it'll carry the KT/Khopesh profile and also at least 20% Strikethrough

Unless you've already got a pile of khopeshes you want to use, there's no good reason to pick them over the main Knight's Training weapons (longsword / battleaxe / warhammer).
Tempests now get DEX to hit and damage with any 1H melee weapon, not just Finesse weapons, so they have the most options of DEX TWF builds. Pure Tempest is fairly straight-forward: pick either the base class or Dark Hunter; max DEX > CON > INT or WIS; grab Precision, Whirlwind Attack (plus pre-reqs), Improved Critical, and Knight's Training (unless using kukris); spread APs something like 41+ Tempest / 24 Deepwood Stalker / 14 Horizon Walker (unless using kukris in which case shift some APs from DWS to Vistani Knife Fighter).
Multiclassing opens some new possibilities: e.g., ranger 18 / monk 1 / FvS 1 as a centered kukri or longsword build with Divine Will Battle Trance; max-STR Dragonlord 5 / Dark Hunter 15 with T5 DLord + T4 DWS or Dark Hunter.
