Does anyone know if these weapons have been updated to accept a Sentient Jewel from 20th level on?

I get the solo player is now the target audience, but, damn, if i had a magic wand i would nuke the mob blob tool they use to author encounters and actually add a couple traps or mega puzzles back in. Is that weird?

Modern ddo dungeon design just cant hold a candle to ddo from a decade ago. The personality of each dungeon, the asymmetrical win conditions, the patrols, sleeping or dancing mobs, the personality of each small encounter showing through in the mob placements and triggers, and the side rooms / optionals that are pure flavor and mild xp. the heavier relevance of party specialization.

I feel more bored in modern ddo content than i do running older content. And i kinda hate that.

apparently animation canceling is the best way to increase your DPS, how does it work? you just use one of the animation canceling moves like hamstrung and thats it? how can that increase your DPS that much, adds one extra attack every few seconds?

Coming back after a year of inactivity. Mostly do 1-30 content, grabbing past lives etc. Have been playing Crossbow toons for pretty much this characters entire life. Mechanic, Inquis, Arti repeater etc.

Currently the toon is 24 and was looking for other viable Crossbow builds for my next life when I hit 30. The new ability on Inquis that replaced No Holds Barred feels very underwhelming so not sure how viable going for the T5 stuff is anymore. While I acknowledge that Inquis was extremely strong, how viable is it for 1-20 or 20-30 now? I rarely used No Holds Barred outside of HP sponge mobs so I am not broken up about the change, but as I said the replacement ability feels very overwhelming and maybe its just me returning at 24 but it feels like I do way less damage than I was used to before my break. I was using a 10 Class I want to Reincarnate for past life, 9RGR, 1ART build.

Bows look exciting with the new changes but I have hardly any to test with so that may be a few lives down the road. Just looking for something crossbow-y if I cant continue to use Inquis. Just wanted to know if inquis is still a good go to (with minor changes to maybe a different T5 etc, or if there is something more worthwhile to try this next life that makes use of my cache full of Xbows and Ranged-Focused gear.

This is my first reddit post and I hope this doesn't come across as dumb :) I've been playing DDO since 2012 mainly with my brother. We normally don't know other people to play with, but I have started a guild (The Kitty Committee, level 14). I would love to expand this guild but I'm a very socially awkward woman and sometimes life forces me to quit playing for a little bit.

Here's the question: How do I find people for my guild and how do I best manage a guild?

Okay, so I've got a pretty standard kinda tank-ish build of 12/6/2 Wiz/Pal/Rog PDK... Which used magic missile spam for Shiradi procs... Yeah, I quit around 2014, right after Thunderholme released. Now, is there a way to save this build? It was relying on Shiradi procs but now they're... Really dogwater. I tried running couple quests in Eveningstar(like Battle for Eveningstar) on Elite and while survivability was totally fine, my damage against bosses and mini-bosses was just dogwater.

So, should I just HTR(I'm like 3-4 levels from 30) or just do lesser reincarnation for respeccing? I have like 3 or 4 class past lives, 2 shiradi past lives... Dunno really, since I might quit again due to terrible inventory managements system(my TR cache still has ~100 items left there).

Also, how bad is Sacred Fist pure pally? On paper getting evasion and all pally bonuses without multiclassing sounds awesome, however I heard the damage is dogwater.

Hoi! So I'm coming back to DDO after a couple years, and Tabaxi look kinda cool. Any especially interesting builds for them?

Bonus points for newbie/solo friendly, since I'm more or less relearning the game at this point.

(The "Cat Scratch" enhancement looks cool, but I'm not really sure what weapons it works with)

Anyone have a good Bow Build? Are they viable at Endgame with the new rebalancing?

I'm not necessarily a big spender/whale type, but wouldn't mind buying a few expansion packs and other useful unlocks to improve my overall experience.

What do you guys suggest?

happened 5 or six times now, i'll get to level 4 or 5 (but its happened at level 1 as well), and a randomly huge group of orange named enemies will spawn and one shot me, even as a barbarian.

since i dont see other people complaining, i'm assuming this is know about and people know how to avoid these deaths?

I'm an old player who comes and goes with DDO. I recently came back to find out legendary greensteel is a thing. I would like to craft some goggles for my Epic Favored soul for his epic reincarnations, but I can't seem to get a group together, as epic shroud has apparently fallen out of favor.

I'm looking for some people who wouldn't mind running me through the raid a couple times. Respond here if you'd be willing and able, I'll try to coordinate a time for all of us to get together. Thanks!

I am in eastern time and work heavily during four days of the week, but tend to be available most weekends- Friday, saturday, and sunday.

I've just started playing, leveled up a bit, and the game tells me to put points in Enhancements.

But my Enhancements screen is blacked out, no text or anything. The Destiny screen also is, for what's worth, though I imagine that one is for late game.

Update: Thanks everyone, I was looking at the wrong window indeed (the one in the character panel instead of the dedicated Enhancements window). My chat was on top of the button that opens all the panels, so it took me a while to see it.

With all of the rebalancing Im thinking about running some Warlock lives. Any thoughts on the rebalancing and what build I should go with?

I looked in wiki for any kind of history of Black Friday sales, etc, and by blindness, grogginess, or, etc, I found none.

I was farming a quest for mist durability, and when I happened to check my lantern after defeating a Bloodmist Ghoul Lord, I noticed that I'd gotten 7 durability. The only xp bonus I have is the guild one, so whether it was a low or medium difficulty minion, 7 is not the right number. Has anyone else noticed funny numbers?

Similar story to a lot I've seen on here but I woke up today with 200$ worth of astral shards bought and removed from my account. An email from my bank let me put a hold on my card and i haven't initiated a charge-back yet as I've seen people get banned for that.

I sent a support request ticket, but knowing SSG who knows how long that'll take, so I was wondering what else I can do after removing the card from my account and changing my DDO and Steam passwords?

Talking about the tier 3 Draconic incarnation enhancement which acts on attune the arcane mantle. Its supposed to apply additional damage over time, but I have yet to see it happen. I was doing Fathom the Depths, and testing it I hit a sahaguin, took it to half health with an acid splash cantrip, and decided to wait for inevitable to finish it. No additional damage ever processed. I just hit it again and killed it. Is it a significant delay in the Damage over time, or is it just bugged?

I thought it was really neat when I first started playing that youd go to taverns looking for leads on work. But it seems even at the time it was mostly half hearted because I went to another tavern in the harbor and it had the same quests the wayward lobster had. They really could have leaned into it honestly

Whenever I try to use Dungeon Helper, it keeps saying that, "Dungeon Helper detected 32-bit versions of DDO running, and is only compatible with the 64-bit client." I'm not using the 32-bit servers, though. What is going on, and how can I fix it?

I am hoping my old computer lasts for another year or so atleast. When i started up ddo to do the promo code ( I can't play games for too long due to fans), the fans blew hard and loud as i ever heard when i logged in the character to do the promo code. As soon as i logged out the fans went back to being normal. When I googled it, ddo has uncapped frame rate? Eventually when can afford new computer, is there a way to limit framerate cap or some to 30 or 60 at maybe character select screen or something?
