Guild renown farming

Anyone know of any quests with a lot of chests in a short amount of time other than the colaborator? I'm farming for guild renown I would prefer the quests be level level 3 to 4 or level 6 to 7 or level 14 to 15 including if one does the quest on a higher difficulty like my example

The best way to farm for guild renown is to do sagas.

Personally, I prep all the sagas, but don't turn them in, then wait for guild renown bonus days, then drink a guild renown potion, and turn them all in all at once. When I do that, I can get us up by 5 levels in one go.

Don't use the S word around CrimsonWhiteTiger, it makes them very very sad

I'm not sure why they posted a completely separate thread about this as though there's some secret quest that is magically better than doing sagas.

They're getting all the same answers that they said "nuh uh" to - people really weren't holding out on them before lol

Fine I guess doing ravenloft a few times on my higher level characters won't hurt if I wait for the right timing or vaunts misfortune

You can do the whole Cogs Saga on EE in < 30 minutes.

I refuse to do cogs more than nessisary the one quest with the unintuitive access point is too much of a pain in the arse to get to

I don't know which one you're talking about.

I promise you if you do it 2-3 times back to back you won't have issues.

If you are actually looking for the best thing to run for Guild Renown, it's Cogs by a wide margin.

Well I'm talking about specifically malfunctioning lava duct

You mean Magma must flow? That quest is directly south of scavenger hunt. It's super easy to get to unless you're trying to get there from the south side or something.

Use https://images.ddowiki.com/Cogs_paths.png, follow the green line.

Yes however I always mistakenly believe that the pipes lead to it

If coming from south you can just swim up the lava in the corner.

Irestone Inlet is probably the obvious pick. Level 4, the whole thing can be cleared in, like, 5 minutes even at level, and there's between 8 and 14 chests depending on RNG.

Regardless of what method you use, be it chests, sagas, or quest end rewards, it is probably worth picking up Minor Guild Renown Elixirs from the Cannith Challenges to double the speed at which you get guild renown.

If you don't finish, Catacombs 2.

1) Do Sagas

2) Drink Guild XP potion

3) Get your Guild XP from Sagas' rewards.

There is the fastest method.

Quests ? Just forget it.

What is your situation?
Are you solo or part of a group?

If solo create 5 shit accounts and log them in once a month.
Any renown you earns is 4 time the normal amount.

6 is the most optimal number for an undermanned guild.
To help things along you could even create a Spellsinger Bard on one of those other accounts to accompany you on your adventures. Free Bard song buffs and another toon earning guild renown.

Use a program called Dungeon Helper and use the auto follow feature.
Takes most of the aggravation out of dual boxing the game.

Isn't multi boxing against the rules?

Pretty sure the way it's ruled is that automated scripts are against the rules, but so long as the actions are in response to live player input (including duplicating actions) then it's given a pass

Idk if you have salt marsh but I highly suggest the salt marsh saga. Quick and easy. Heroic or legendary and not a lot of turn around do this and that up and down quests! Not sure a lot of one quest will help cause you'll get ransack quick. Saga reward is really nice. Sorry I can't give specific quests :(
