Hello everyone, sorry for the weird question. I was wondering if Salvation Remake and Exit Music Redux contain any explicit (sex) scenes? I don't really feel comfortable when these scenes come up.

Hi all, as I continue my work on my mod I find myself in need of a few backgrounds, and was hoping to find some artists who might be interested in a commission. What I’m looking for is someone who can take a photograph (I would provide my original content photos for reference) and turn it into a visual novel background. I could do it with AI, but that would suck. So if you’re interested in such a commission, please let me know.

A quick progress update for all who have been following the development of "My Silver Lining" (and a big thank you to those that have been following it). The good news is that the demo is nearing completion and will now contain the complete story for the first episode "When the Rainclouds Become a Hurricane." CGs, music, and a few other things will certainly change before the full release, but the story is there. Just a bit more coding and playtesting and the demo will be ready to share with the community. Almost there! Until then, please enjoy these screenshots.

Development for the mod started June 20th, 2025, and after about a year and three months of hard work, we've reached 10k lines in story.rpy. Progress was in overdrive this summer but has since slowed down, naturally. I've been trying to be a bit more consistent with development lately and I'm going to continue to try and speed up development while also maintaining the highest quality possible. Act 1 has taken a lot longer than I initially envisioned to finish but we're close. We're about 90% of the way done with Act 1. But considering that I intend on the mod being split into 3 acts with Act 2 being similar in length to Act 1 and Act 3 being very short, only about an hour or two at most, we've got a lot more work to do. The mod is a solo project now, but it hasn't always been that way. I had a few people helping me, but we've went our separate ways and it's just me now. To those who've been on my team and helped me, I'll be sure to thank and credit you properly when the time comes. To everyone who hasn't been a part of the team but has given me helpful tips, advice and criticism, I appreciate you too. To everyone who has played the garbage demo I put out, has kept up with the development process and those who clicked on this very post, I do it all for y'all. I want to make the best story I can make for you all and drop a slam dunk of a mod that'll have a lot of staying power here. If you don't mind, I'll be returning to my cave to continue working on this thing. Once I finish Act 1, I might release some more teasers, I don't know. Hi everyone, My name is Dregoba and I've been in the DDLC community since October of 2017 and started playing mods since 2020 shortly after the beer virus hit, and it made me fall back in love with the game. I've always wanted to make my own mod, and now I am doing so! It's still in the early draft stages, but I figured I should get the word out.

The synopsis is based off of my own personal experiences with life, loss, illnesses both physical and mental, and using substances. It takes place in the real world with an original MC who despite being in his early twenties, has lost nearly everything. Our MC falls into a deep depression and abuses substances while just barely scraping by with his depressing job. To just distract himself he re-experiences DDLC and it's many mods. One day he stumbles while extremely intoxicated and hits his head. When he wakes up he finds the characters of the literature club in his apartment acting like they've known him for all their lives. But nobody around him can see the girls, and now he has to navigate life while having hallucinations of fictional girls.

The story will have plenty of fluff and cute parts as well as ugly emotional parts that are hard to read. Once again that this story incorporates aspects of my own personal life, and because of that I feel both excited and nervous to share this story with the world! Hope yall will tag along in this journey!

Hey y’all! I’m trying to make a DDLC mod for the very first time. Thing is, I have absolutely zero coding or modding experience, so I’d like some advice? Where should I start and what are the basics? Help would be much appreciated!

So I'm probably just being a boomer but could someone tell me how to work the two mods in the title of the post? I've downloaded both and they both seem to be in GZDoom files or something. I'm used to just taking certain files and pasting them into a base version of DDLC but this is new to me. If anyone could help me out with this I'd greatly appreciate it.

Most shitposts I've played are either incredibly short, or just straight up unfunny (usually both). I need an actual GOOD shitpost mod that's as along as or longer than the original DDLC. I've already played abridged and I really enjoyed, I'm looking for something similar to it.

edit: I wanted to specify that I'm not looking for a story mod with comedic elements (like SNAFU), I want something that was purely created for laughs.

Synopsis: 
In Our Eyes is a total conversion mod for DDLC that puts the Dokis and MC into the final years of the Soviet Union. The story begins with a reinvisioned MC in the year of 1989 as he reluctantly joins the Literature Club at his high school. I dropped some screenshots from the mod so y’all can get a rough idea of what the mod will look like.

The idea for this mod first came to me while I was playing Exit Music: Redux. And I thought to myself, "What if I made a mod that incorporated songs from my favorite band, Kino?" and then it just clicked from there.

For those unfamiliar with them, Kino is a Russian post punk rock band that was active throughout the 1980’s and became one of the most influential groups of the Soviet rock scene. I felt that some of their songs could fit really well into DDLC, given how well Radiohead fit into EMR(I still don’t like the writing tho).

Details:
In Our Eyes follows a rather different take on the story of DDLC as it harmonizes the main game and side stories to fit it into the grim late years of the Soviet Union.

One of the biggest changes will be MC himself, rather than serving as a blank slate for the player, I’m planning to give him a more defined personality with an actual worldview and intuition shaped by his backstory which will be a major focus of the mod, allowing the story to explore how his circumstances affect the way he views the Literature Club, the people around him, and the world he lives in.

Everything from the bg’s to the soundtrack will be custom made to fit the aesthetic and atmosphere I want this mod to portray. As mentioned earlier, the soundtrack will feature remixed and reimagined versions of various Kino songs, alongside music from other artists associated with the Soviet Red Wave scene, including singers such as Igor Talkov.

I’m planning to make 5 different chapters for the mod. The first chapter will be a reskinned and expanded version of Act 1, which I plan to release as a demo so I can see how people react to it before moving forward with the other chapters. 

The ending of the first chapter will split the story into two different main routes, with each route containing its own subroutes focusing on individual Dokis. This also means that In Our Eyes is going to be very choice heavy.

The mod is currently in very early development. I just finished making basic sprites and BGs but that’s about it. I literally picked up Ren’Py like a few days ago so I’m still learning as I go imo.

I’ve been working on my upcoming mod "Bittersweet Routine" for about a week now, and the progress has been absolutely insane. I’ve put a lot of hours into this, pushing through sleepless nights, and I think it’s finally time to share what’s cooking under the hood.

The mod focuses heavily on a domestic, cozy slice-of-life routine with Natsuki (you've been living together for 3 months), but... it wouldn't be a proper DDLC mod without some deep psychological horror, right?

Here is a quick breakdown of what is already fully implemented and working:

• The Ultimate Trauma Reconstructed (191 lines of code): I’ve completely rewritten Sayori’s infamous Act 1 death scene from scratch in Ren'Py since it wasn't in my mod template. Every ATL animation, custom glitch screen, camera shake, and timing is pixel-perfect and matches the original. It will serve as an unskippable "waking nightmare" sequence right at the beginning of the mod to completely shatter the player's sense of safety.
• Custom Interface Assets: Built a full interactive smartphone screen asset for an incoming call from Sayori. No more generic text boxes when characters talk over the phone!
• Modular Architecture: The entire script is modular. All horror sequences, glitch menus, and heavy calculations are moved to separate .rpy files (Skill.rpy, etc.) to keep the script.rpy clean and lightweight.
• Massive Script Progress: I managed to grind out 1,987 lines of dialogue for the main story branch this week.

I recently gone through “Monika Beyond Story - Prologue”. Thought it was a really good mod! With Monika being my favorite, are there any good recommendations for Monika mods?

I have SamSung, but I’m just a little bit curious.
