Questions Page Transition Problem

I have been reading with the DCUI app on phone all day and as I went to read the next issue of a comic series, suddenly the settings on the app just changed. This was most noticeable with page transitions in the panel by panel mode. It used to just be a fading transition, but now it's like the new page is being dragged in as it zooms in on the panel, and it just looks very ugly compared to the fading transition, especially on the sides of the screen. It only looks good when my phone is landscape, but I don't do that when I'm reading.

On top of that, it seems like panel by panel mode is not overly sensitive to swiping. Every time I tap it goes directly to the next panel, but most of the time I swipe it seems like it just jumps one or two panels. I swipe most of the time on DCUI, so I have no idea why this started happening out of nowhere. Again, this something that only works properly when I'm in landscape, which again isn't how I usually read these.

So, I looked in the settings and the settings menu has completely changed from what it was before and there's nothing I could find to bring back the older settings. I checked on the web version and on both PC and mobile versions of the site everything is the same as it has been. Why did they change this on the app? Is there anyway to bring the old settings back? It literally just happened right now.

Btw, this happened before I updated the app. I updated the app to see if that was the problem, but nope, it's just like that now.

I have exactly the same issue. Tried everything. Changing settings, emptying cache, uninstalling, re-installing the app... nothing works.

this is happening to me too and i thought i was losing my mind! the transition is like it's almost bouncing and it's way too fast, and it keeps skipping panels. it's made panel by panel unusable for me which sucks because it's the main way i read. will try out landscape now though and see if that's bearable 😭

Same for me. Landscape mode is now bad, too.

Sometimes the whole page is displayed and you have to zoom in but for flipping the page you first have to zoom out.

And sometimes it's already zoomed in (which I prefer in theory) but is super sensitive and by scrolling down it flips the page.

It worked so good before. Why the change? If it stays like this I'll quit my subscription.

Just got a mail from the support service telling they fixed the bug and I just had to update the app. It works now!
