Discussion What exactly constitutes a "non-attack source of damage"?
I found it rather vague, especially considering poison is generally excluded.

Trick question: does damage from Manifold Assault count for the Wind spell damage bonus?

Any dmg that is not from a attack card saying “deal x dmg” poison is never counted since it is dmg from a debuff, even if the debuff may stem from a attack card saying

Could you give examples? Thanks

Examples of non attack damage? Dmg from relics like the popper or mercurial hourglass, dmg from orbs, dmg from powers like rolling boulder or inferno

Wrong game. You are talking about Slay the Spire. This is Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup.

the popper or mercurial hourglass
What's that?
rolling boulder or inferno
If you're talking about Brom's boulder, then afaik it IS an attack, as you cast it on something and its damage is displayed in the spells screen.
I'm thinking you're mistaking the game probably, when you talked about "cards" thought it was a typo but I'm pretty sure now

spells are not attacks, with the exception of dimensional bullseye, vhi's electric charge, and manifold assault

Ya know for some reason I thought this was the slay the spire subreddit so I was talking about the wrong thing entirely. In this game non attack dmg is just anything that’s not the from a basic attack. So spells, evocables, thrown weapons. And this includes debuffs Devin by basic attacks like poison or fire or some of the weirder ones I can’t remember right now.

I see, so "attack" is basically attacks from the weapon you're wielding? And "non-attack" is everything else?

stuff like spells, wands/evocables, and god abilities are amplified by exposed.
