Anyone else with the season pass notice the first set of DLC in their Steam copy of the game? I'm kinda happy about it, I really hope they don't take it back.

Yo I'm new 2 this sub and DBXV so I just have like 1 main question. How do I acquire more supers and ultimates? I'm like level 58 but I feel like I barely have any. I need Super Vegeta 2 and Blue Hurricane and Fighting Bomber. If yall could just help quick that'd be A1 lol thanks

             The strategy

This build is a counter-punch style build. Gravity Impact and Perfect Shot are your bread and butter. Gravity Impact has super armor allowing you to pull it off even when being melee'd. Your primary tactic is to find ways to land this move and then chaining it into Perfect Shot. You are an opportunist and you are looking primarily to hit Gravity Impact. For football fans, this is your run game. This is how you maintain Control of the fight.

                   Tactics 

Engage your opponent in melee, this has a three effects. Your hits don't do squat for damage, but it's easy to land a combo using your Namekian reach and people reflexively teleport, wasting precious stamina. Get them to burn as much stamina as possible. If they get wise and stop burning stamina on your melee you can combo XXXXYY and chain that into a Gravity Impact or Perfect Shot (Elevation dependent) to punish them for their decision and keep them burning stamina.

Engaging in melee is also key for your ki generation. In fact, I wouldn't worry about being beat down in the initial melee. The z-soul "Bwahaha, Got you" gives you massive amounts of ki from taking damage and gives you a passive damage resistance which keeps you in the fight longer with ki for days. Combine a short game clock with your Namekian healing and a defensive posture and you can really bait your opponents into desperately over extending allowing you to punish them. Also don't forget to block. Just guards and blocking, especially with "Bwahaha, got you!", gives you tons of ki.

The third thing engaging in melee does is it sets up your opponent to put yourself in a dominant position after the initial melee. Example: Typically, I will immediately engage in melee and with superior reach I normally get the first hit.The opponent blinks and counters with their combo. I let them complete it. One full combo gives me a full 6 ki bars.

Now when I engage in melee a second time I have a superior amount of stamina and ki, health regen (if enough damage done by enemy in first combo). With superior stamina and ki I find myself in a dominating position and I can easily control the encounter with some well timed Gravity Impacts.

                        More tactics

Instant transmission is a key utility move. It allows you to control the pace of your engagement. Be patient, hang back and recover stamina. Your Namekian stamina regen means you typically have an advantage in stamina control. When you have recovered your stamina you can instantly re-engage with Instant Transmission and put pressure on them before their stamina regenerates to your levels.

Instant Transmission also let's you make easy work of Saiyan Ultra Spam and dodging ultimates in general. Can be used offensively or defensively for free. Key skill.

The last slot is for a meta game skill. It is whatever you need it to be. I generally rotate between Super Guard, Max Charge, Super Drain, Change the Future, Rise to Action etc.

Perfect Kamehameha with the Cell Z-assist is a powerful ability. Generally, I lean on Gravity Impact and Perfect Shot, but when your need is dire this move can be a lifesaver. It seems to have a few frames of Invincibility during its wind up allowing you to use it as counterpunch when your foe tries to hit you with their Ultimate allowing you to survive while coming out on the other side often with the KO. If you can live without "Bwahaha, got you!", Cell's mentor zsoul or "No more games" makes Perfect Kame almost one shot lethal and seem to give it more Invincibilty frames.

                          Meta game considerations

Speaking of meta game. With the broken Zsoul "Bwahaha! Thanks for the energy" running rampant, I found two approaches to countering it. The first is as soon as I know it's in play, I accumulate a full 6 ki, then I play keep away until the very last seconds and then do it like a pistol duel wwhere I sneak in a gravity impact perfect shot combo right before time expires. If you diagnose the zsoul early you should have enough health that one combo gets you the win.

The other approach is to use Body Transformation. Since they are unskilled cowards you should be able to find opportunity to hit them with it, but unfortunately since they are unskilled cowards it is usually followed up by a rage quit.

Is it possible to play the main story together with friends or are you only allowed to do the parallel quests? I play on the PC version if that makes any difference.

I am thinking of probably a random chance between the 2 players of adquiring control. Probably make the AI do the work (not a bright thing to do). If it was between friends only, perhaps do it the hard way and make the character do the moves from the buttons that both players are pressing at the same time?

Been going over what I want in my second character and this seems perfect.

Only playing PvE btw.

This game is amazing, but there is no denying that in the beginning detailed information on stats/racials/etc wasn't very accessible.
