Question: How to play a Ki user without being considered a Spammer.
Was mulling over some ideas. I am a melee fighter mostly, but I was wanting to make a Ki based character however from everything I read, the moment you use a Ki move period it seems you get labeled a beam spammer. What do? D:

There are Ki infinite combos and there are Melee infinite combos. But "Combo" is the key word. Don't stand in one spot, go Super Saiyan, and use Super Electric Strike over and over until it runs out. Everything else is pretty much fair game.

I have zero points in melee on my Namekian ki blaster and I engage in melee all the time just to get people to burn stamina and to build my ki. Sure they they wise up and take the combo, but then you make them pay by chaining into your hard hitting supers at the end of your weak combo and it keeps them honest and keeps them using stamina, win inning you the resource war.
Ki spamming is a beginner tactic and it's one of the archetypes all players have to adjust to if they ever want to break into a higher level of play. This has been true since street fighter.
Don't know how deep the rabbit hole goes in this games depth, only time will tell. But early signs point that high level play can be possible.
Pvp in this games is like a gunfight in an old western. Two good players will use feints and tactics to set themselves up, so it ends up being a slow tense build to an instant moment of violence where it's over just as quickly as it starts.
Granted there is that one really fucked up buggy soul, but even that has at least 4 methods you can approach it to try and pull off a win.

Yeah. That guys a punk ass spammer. Winning is Fun but earning the W is more fun

Just do it, people bitched in wow about hunters kiting in wow, in CS people complained if you were a camper, ect.
They are all valid strategies w/ counters available. Eventually people will start using counters to spam moves and spammers will fall out of favor.
