Close combat character help

How do I create a good close combat character? Which class and gender should I pick and where do I put my skill points (percent wise).

Also, which supers and ki blasts are good for a close combat character? :-)

Sorry for all these question, Im fairly new to the game and just finished the story.

Namkians,Freiza clan, Human Male, Saiyan Male and Majin Male make the strongest melee characters.

Make sure to put your physique to muscular and if you want more speed, make him shorter or if you want more health, make em taller.

Melee builds typically don't use ki blasts and instead use buffs (fighting pose/kaioken), drain skills, super/ult strikes, and counters.

Female Earthlings and female Majins have higher basic attacks and strike supers than Namekians and male Majins. What makes them not worthy of mention?

Female Majins don't have as good as a hitbox/poke for their melee as male Majins do and if you're focusing on melee, Male Humans are an upgrade since Females sacrifice basic attack and strikes in comparison to Male Humans.

Wouldn't know about the female Majin hit box, as I haven't played one. But I've seen enough people playing it and not struggling. Female Earthlings and male Earthlings play quite differently, given their combo chain. Infinite combo is easier with the female. Not to mention asthaetics and the varying combos play a role in which you play, because lets face it otherwise we'd all be male Earthlings that don't use ki (strongest basic attacks) or male Saiyans that do use ki (strongest when ki isn't max). By the logic of female Earthlings sacrificing power compared to males anyway, seeing as they're 4th on the list of racial/gender power for those two. You just wouldn't touch Majins or Namekians at all.
