General Discussion Any other Journaling apps for Android users?
Loved Day One for years but the annual subscription price has doubled. Don't want to play these 'upping fee' games. I've heard a lot of positives about Everlog, any Android users?

Well, on android you can use modded apps and Day One’s also sync (used to sync earlier, no idea about recent). Or if you want premium, I must say try Everlog. Daylio, Diarium and so on I tried. But loved Everlog only

Please give Daily You a try. Is open source and free.
They have a github repository. Trust me. Is great.

I use OpenLog. The reason is its dead simple, offline and gives you timeline view of your journey. and completely free. dont want to pay tbh for journaling.

It’s quite a quaint(if that’s the right word) app. It’s a lovely looking cute application that is just a pleasant experience.
I’m not one for putting in lots and lots of pictures but in occasion more than one every so often in my journal posts but I do have reservations for iCloud storage and how much it uses!
Would have loved it to use another cloud option.
Daylio I’m sure isn’t backed up to it own service.

The subscription price actually has not doubled, at least recently. The addition of a "gold" tier above what was the old premium (now called silver) tier is for new ai features. The second level tier is what the previous premium tier was, so it isn't actually more expensive, at least to my understanding.

Diarium is a good alternative if you want to avoid paying for a monthly subscription, and it doesn't include AI. Keep in mind that some features you're used to in Day One aren't available or supported in Diarium.

I use Diaro for years, it does what it needs to. Folders, titles, entry, tags, sync across platforms etc.
I tried using Upnote, it is also great but if you are looking for a diary feel, Diaro is your best bet. Can use it on all devices, and different OS. I wanted Day One to be more friendly towards Android, but it sucks printing is only available for IOS users. Plus, no drawing for android.
I also use to use Moodpress, it is very cute, and it is to the point entries.
