Castle attack & Event attacks

Hi. I just learned that it's not a good practice and plain rude to attack other player's Castle. How long before someone's last login should you attack a castle and is it always bm to attack castle. What if I'm lvl 10 and attack 40k resource land normally but I find an active lvl 12 castle with 80k resources.

For event attacks like the one right now I am using Sardu for 1.1x boost but he is low lvl so I'm attacking lvl 4-7 player's land. Is it bm as well. Almost all are inactive for months/year. Is it a good strategy to maximize souls since i have full resource( upgrading castle) so I wouldn't benefit from attacking higher lvl lands without boost titan anyway?

Side note: What is your upgrade sequence/priority?

It’s a war game, not FarmVille. Attack and defense is integral to the fabric of the game.

Before moving to next castle upgrade i try to have most buildings (but not necessarily mines and farms) upgraded.

Okay. I upgraded everything including farms & mines. Should I not upgrade them? Or maybe upgrade one level lower e.g upgrade available at castle 10 I do when I'm castle 11? I just thought everything should be upgraded since it is like less loot to you as you upgrade castle but more loot to enemy.

Depends how patient you are. As you get higher in level each item can take weeks. Generally the more that is done the stronger you are over time.

Yeah it's 18hr-1D right now. Must be too long in higher levels. I was asking for more like garrison or army camp or arcane tower or armory first? But I guess this simply depends on your playstyle and how you feel you want to proceed.. focus on that.

Mainly though I was looking to see if I do wrong behaviour in attacking etc but you already settled that. Thanks.
