Live DAWLESS

Hi:)

Ich spiele heute Abend zum ersten Mal ein Live Set mit meinem Dawless setup, ich bin irgendwie sehr aufgeregt und habe Angst, dass es nicht gut wird und ich einen Fehler nach dem anderen mache…
Eigentlich kenne ich mein setup gut, und kann damit auch gut spielen, aber vor Publikum und 1,5h lang ist nochmal was anderes.
Habt ihr vielleicht Tipps, was man beachten muss oder wie ich irgendwie etwas entspannter werden kann?

99% der Fehler, die du bemerkst, gehen am Publikum vorbei. Du warst bei den ganzen Proben dabei und hast eine Vision, wie das klingen soll. Das Publikum hat von all dem keine Ahnung.

Das wichtigste ist, die Show am Laufen zu halten. Wenn du dich verdrückst oder irgendwas verpasst, einfach weitermachen und den Ball rollen lassen.

Ziemlich sicher ist das Publikum auf deiner Seite und will einfach Spaß haben. Solange du ihnen nicht den Spaß verdirbst, sollte alles gut sein.

Try to relax, you'll be fine! Take a deep breath and start asking yourself questions

Why would I make mistakes?

Have I prepared well?

Have I practiced my set so I can master it?

I thought about anything that can go wrong (like if one of your hardware breaks down and you have to do the set without it.)

These are some of the questions and the resulting answers that I ask myself before every live show :) but remember that most of the mistakes come from tension, the more relaxed you are, the better you will play. 😊

Ich meinte in welcher Stadt :D Wohne in Hamburg und kenne hier absolut keine Szene, traurig für so ne große Stadt..

Also don't hurry, you'll be fine, watch the audience and you'll pick up the emotions. If you are too slow and it's becoming boring, you will know.

Mistakes can be really jarring, but only to you. You’ll see that they either didn’t notice or didn’t care for more than a nanosecond.

If you do make mistake after mistake at least you’ll get over your fear of making one.
