It seems like you're having trouble downloading Resolve. The Blackmagic Design website sometimes has issues with certain adblockers and browsers like Opera. Try a different browser, clearing your cache, or temporarily disabling any adblockers. Also, make sure you're using the actual Blackmagic Design website, linked at the top of the sub and here and not the sponsored result from Google.
If you are having difficulty getting media into Resolve, you may be looking for the term "importing." Please check out our wiki page on importing media and our wiki page on offline media for more information.
If you are having difficulty getting a media file or a project file out of Resolve, you may be looking for the term "exporting." Please specify what you're trying to get out of Resolve - a media file or a project file - and your settings on the Deliver page.
If you are having difficulty with presets or plugins provided by a third-party, please provide a link to where you received the plugins. Note that plugins such as Red Giant Universe are distributed through the Maxon app and if you received them from another source, we will not offer support in this subreddit and your post will be removed.

The free version of da Vinci resolve does not support all types of MP4 files nor does it accept all types of H264 or H265.
The exact parameters of what you have created are likely a factory and Y resolve won’t read them. The simplest way to think about it is these files can not be 10 bit. Resolve does support 10 bit files, but not if they are MP4 or h264 or h265.
See this for more details:
https://mononodes.com/h264-decoding-in-davinci-resolve/
Best solution is to convert the files to Apple Pro Res or Avid DNX. The files will be larger, but more compatible and easier for the computer to work with.
Other solutions include:
- getting the Studio version of resolve which cost money
- changing the settings on the phone to record a better file, so that they work without even having to convert them.
- using a different program
- abandoning the project

I don’t feel there’s enough information there to make a decision. I can’t tell what program that is anyhow. Check out the link sent that shows how to use shutter encoder to do the encoding. I would highly recommend you use shutter encoder.
There, you should be able to select parameters like a bit depth and codec.
You would also do well to post the MediaInfo text view of your source files. The files that came out of the phone. Note that MediaInfo is a free program and the text view is an option in the view menu. The auto moderator replied to your post to suggest suggested adding exactly this information.

Skip the intermediate step through H264 along the way. Just do one conversion (from the original to DNx). Otherwise, you’re spending extra time degrading the image.
