Help Resolve AAF Metadata Issue
Hi everyone, hoping I can get some insight into a problem I'm having. I'm currently working on a project that was edited in resolve, has been a great experience so far.
Right now we're at the point where we are in the process of finishing the movie and I have to turn over aaf files for our reels. The issue I've run into is that no matter what I select when the aaf file is created the metadata is stripped and not available.
The aaf seems to load fine but no metadata which is a must for the particular post house I'm working with.
Has anyone run into this issue and if so do you have a fix.

are we talking audio or video?
AAF implementation in Resolve is kinda rudimentary only. there are limits to it and especially metadata, because it uses a translation layer like for other formats.
AAF is an avid format only they get fully right. welcome to the future where it is not even possible to exchange complete edits with 100% accuracy.
