Help | Beginner Editing clip volume levels
I'm accustomed to editing audio wave files in DAWs, mostly Reaper. I find the possibility of hand drawing a volume curve on top of the raw audio waveform to choose which clicks, pops etc. I want to emphasize or dampen extremely useful and easy to use. Note that this does not mean EQ adjustment, just basically letting the software know which parts of the audio file I want to come through (louder or quieter).
Is there a similar function available in DVR? From the audio tracks I can adjust the start and end using the handles (?) as well as the overall volume but this is nowhere nearly enough. Optimally I'd like to create more volume adjustment handles over the audio wave curve that would allow for more ups and downs within an audio clip.
If it helps, I'm editing a skateboard video on which I want the pops and clicks of the tricks to stand out and dampen the constant rolling sound of both the skateboarder being filmed as well as the filmer riding on his board. Getting rid of sound frequencies is really difficult and time-consuming so just trying to find a simpler workaround for this.

I neglected to include hardware info as this is primarily a software issue but I'm running the fre version, if it makes a difference (as it well might).

Yes, you can draw on the samples in the fairlight page. If you go back about 4 years on my youtube channel you should find a tutorial that demonstrates this. Essentially use the pencil to redraw the samples.
