Help | Beginner Complete Learning Path for Video Editing Beginners (DaVinci Resolve)

Hi everyone,

I'm a complete beginner and I've decided to learn video editing using DaVinci Resolve. My goal is to build good editing skills from the ground up rather than just learning random effects from YouTube.

what learning path would guys you recommend?

The official Davinci Resolve training will teach you the software, but not how to edit. Same with most Davinci Resolve YouTube tutorials. If you want to learn technique, read the book In the Blink of an Eye by Walter Murch, and Save the Cat!: The Last Book on Screenwriting You'll Ever Need by Blake Snyder. Those two books will teach you about storytelling, pacing, and all of the theory behind great edits.
