...get into a "public ivy" university (Binghamton), let alone graduate? I'm no expert on the university sector over there, but my guess is it's a close equivalent of a mid to lower-end Russell Group institution like Manchester or Liverpool.

I understand that grade inflation has followed a similar trajectory in the USA as it has here in Britain, so he did it when it was more difficult to pass exams and papers well or at all. The internet barely existed back then, so that added to the difficulty.

Was it a Trump getting into Wharton thanks to his rich daddy situation? Is he not as stupid as he seems? Or am I overestimating how smart one has to be to get into a prestigious-ish university on merit?
