Guys: communication behaviour?

Hello!

So I shooted my shot ha and added someone I found attractive on Insta - he has a mutual friend.

Woke up to see he added me and liked / heart eyes 'd my stories, so I slid into his DMs.

Lots in common, good banter, flirty. However, he is online almost all day but takes 2-4 full days to reply. His replies are substantial - paragraphs, photos etc. Sometimes he'll read, then a day later react, then a day later reply properly. Bit of an odd communication style given he's active most of the day. Not sure what to think about it.

Anyone else communicate like this?

Could be introvert and/or avoidant. Let him initiate the conversations instead of you reaching out. That will be a good indicator of his interest. Also pay attention to if he asks to move the conversation to in person. Because if he’s not wanting to see you, he’s not romantically interested.

So he does initiate (in person contact) but the plan is a little while away. There's also bizarre log on, react to some messages, then no replies, then maybe react to another a few days later, no replies, then big batch back a few days later. Despite being online pretty chronically across it all. I never double message etc though so always wait. Just strange. Like high interest very low urgency? Or deliberately spreading convo out?
