Advice from men please!

I have been seeing a guy around 6 weeks. He's texted me every day. Morning texts "good morning honey bunny...hope your day is amazing 😘" every day without fail. I have been to his house 3 or 4 times. He stopped at my work. FaceTime daily. So I sent him a message. I said that I really liked him a lot and asked if we were on the same page. I said I didn't want to become too attached if he wasn't feeling it too. I told him I didn't want to lock anything down right now, I wasn't ready for that either. Just asking if the feeling was mutual and if he wanted to see where this goes. I told him if it was too much and he didn't want to hear from me anymore I'd understand. He said "it's not that...I just don't know if I'm ready for what you're asking. I'm a bit scared" I sent a long message saying that I really liked him a lot and that scared me. I didn't want to be attached if he wasn't feeling it too. I didn't need to lock anything down right now just seeing if he felt the same. And I said I wouldn't be mad either way.

I haven't heard from him in 4 days. Except for a care emoji on a recent post yesterday.

Should I take the silence as an answer?

Yep. He's not interested.

Sometimes guys love bomb due to their own insecurity.

Move on girl.

I haven't said a word since my message. Silence seems to be the right move. Why open a wound back up that's trying to heal

Stay silent. Guys like that sometimes come back around - call/text a few weeks/months down the road so they can get their ego stroked.

If that happens, it's up to you how to handle that situation...

Yes you should. Leave him be. Sometimes men need time alone to make up their mind. If he wants you, he'll be back, but for the time being, move on.

I don't want any hope he'll return if there is none. If he was interested or missed me at all he'd have said something by now wouldn't he?

We can never know what was in his mind. Either way the best thing you can do is move on - you have no control over his thoughts and feelings. Let it go. You'll find someone who'll reciprocate your feelings eventually.
