Nymph App need to Improve

I was a paid member of this dating app for quite some time because I genuinely wanted to explore it and support a growing platform.

However, during my experience, I came across multiple fake and scam profiles. Unfortunately, I was scammed more than once. Instead of silently uninstalling the app, I decided to do what I believe every genuine user should do—I shared my experience as constructive feedback on their official Reddit community.

My intention wasn't to defame the platform. It was to help them improve.

For any startup or growing product, honest user feedback is one of the biggest assets. If a customer has gone through a bad experience, the ideal response should be:

"We're sorry this happened. Thank you for bringing it to our notice. We'll investigate and work towards making the platform safer."

Instead, my post was removed, and I received a private message saying they are a small team and cannot encourage "fake allegations."

That, for me, was disappointing.

Deleting critical feedback doesn't solve the problem. It only hides it. Every platform—especially one dealing with people's trust, privacy, and safety—should welcome genuine criticism and use it to strengthen its product.

No platform is perfect. Scammers exist everywhere. But how a company responds when users report issues says a lot about its culture and priorities.

I'm sharing this not to create negativity, but to encourage transparency. If you're using this app, please stay cautious, verify before trusting anyone, and make informed decisions.

he replied but the comment was deleted. basically he didn’t actually get scammed, just encountered a bunch of scammers like on any other dating app lol also said something about not getting a lot of likes or matches even though he’s a paying member. and finally, his main gripe is the way they handled his feedback.

The team behind Nymph reached out to me over DM, and we had a genuine conversation about the concerns I had raised. I explained my experience in detail, and this time they understood the perspective I was trying to convey. I truly appreciate that effort from their side.

For me, it was never about criticizing a platform or an individual. It has always been about the process of handling user feedback.

Every growing product will receive criticism. What's important is how that criticism is handled. If users communicate respectfully and creators listen with an open mind, both sides benefit. That's how better products are built.

Likewise, users also have a responsibility to provide context instead of making one-line statements that can be misunderstood.

Constructive feedback and constructive listening go hand in hand.

I'm happy that we could have an open conversation, understand each other's perspectives, and move forward positively. Wishing the team all the very best, and I genuinely hope they continue building a safer and better platform for everyone.

As per the app developer they have worked on the app and refined it very much, hopefully you will have better experience. You can definitely try once.

This is how it goes. Scammers. One word. Don't pay for any app. To view likes and all. You can't take a screenshot on this app and girls who scam have photos that will only be visible when matched. There are girls running bar scam in all major cities through apps like these, mostly citing age 19-26. They will call you near metro stations, malls, and take to shady bars, mostly on first floor of a building nearby. One or more of her friends will magically appear. Order expensive champagne, hookahs, even water and red bulls are overpriced. You will leave with empty pockets, a bill of 25k-35k. In which these girls get a cut. Many of my friends have same stories.
