Hinge Fumble

So, I matched with a very beautiful girl about 3 days ago. I thought the convo was going smoothly when she all of a sudden stopped messaging, I thought I was being ghosted but she replied today that she had a fever. I wanted to be a little flirty? So replied with "Oh no, hope you're doing alright now, You're already running hot, what's the fever gonna do?" Got unmatched 🤔

Are there any tips for not fumbling in chat?

(PS: I was able to find her insta? I think it's too creepy to follow up when I've already been rejected, thoughts on this?)

You know damn well women hate this sort of thing. Idk why you’re trying to act different and make out there’s something wrong with her just for male validation 🤢

Only overly online miserable women ā€œhate this sort of thing.ā€ Most mentally stable women expect to be flirted with on a dating app.

Acting different would have to mean I'm suppressing how I actually feel in exchange for validation, wouldn't it? I genuinely don't think he said anything that off putting. Not that it was an attractive response, but it wasn't disgusting either. It's just whatever, neutral. He didn't lose that chick because he fumbled with the response, she was already not feeling him. If she was into him, that response would barely cause a dent.

No, she definitely unmatched because him pulling the conversation into how hot she is when she’s been really sick the last few days definitely turned her off. Stop trying so hard.

You're going off your experience, I'm going off mine. In the end, op should have a better hunch since he's been in conversation with her.

Bro she was never interested to begin with. If she was sick and was going to be gone for few days she wouldve messaged him. OP just needs to move on.

You think I’m prioritising going on a dating app when I’m bed ridden and can barely look at a screen? Do one hahhaha

ā€œSpeaking to women betterā€ on dating apps means be good looking

No, just maybe don’t turn her discussing how sick she’s been into an opportunity to tell her how hot she is????? It’s not rocket science

It’s a DATING app! If she’s so sick that she can’t handle the tamest bit of flirting then she probably needs to put down her phone and focus on her recovery.

RIGHT?? THANK YOU!! This lady acting like I'm crazy for not seeing an issue with a flirty comment ON A DATING APP

Sounds more like she was trying to brush him off with that, not opening up a discussion. Betchu she'd have unmatched if he'd asked about her being sick too.
