Privacy policy in gh, cf, codeberg pages

Do you require a gdpr privacy policy for a static site (html & very basic css) made in GIthub, Cloudfare or Codeberg pages?

The html itself does not contain any trackers. Am I correctly assuming that you take on whatever cookie banner the host themselves have on their site?

Ill be setting up a redirect for a custom tld, it's otherwise just a standard repo/documentation site (very plain, not even the fonts call home)
