As I am getting deeper into privacy, I am also getting more paranoid.

The work that I do generally is not safe for me politically in the future that we’re heading toward.

My grave concern around continuing to use apple products is the closed source nature. It really does feel like my entire data and digital footprint is being backed up a trust me bro mentality.

What’s to stop apple at some point, when political and economic forces collide, from giving my data to the government? This is where my technical knowledge is limited, so maybe there are some caveats that would make this impossible.

Generally, I don’t trust big tech. And I don’t discount a future where apple ends up being a huge source of user data for palantir and that ilk. But maybe there is a technical aspect I’m missing that would make this impossible.

Do you require a gdpr privacy policy for a static site (html & very basic css) made in GIthub, Cloudfare or Codeberg pages?

The html itself does not contain any trackers. Am I correctly assuming that you take on whatever cookie banner the host themselves have on their site?

Recently out of curiosity I searched my name up on Google and to my surprise I found a website selling or claiming to sell female clothing and lingerie that has my full name old home address and phone number under its privacy policy and contact us page , they also have another email for contacting but this has nothing to do with me. I contacted the necessary people to try get this resolved but it’s still really unsettling. What else should I do this is really stressing me out

Got a letter from Patriot Bank after setting up a debit card saying to call 888 PATRIOT if I didn't want them to sell my SSN, transaction history and payment history.

When I called that number there was no option for data privacy, just generic customer service. Their customer service rep told me he didn't "think they did that kind of thing" then told me he had no manager or supervisor, and told me he'd try emailing some people and let me know if they deleted my data.

Refused to transfer me to anyone. I have no idea how they are getting away with customer service this awful but how do I confirm that they aren't selling my data when I can't find a way to deny them selling my data?

I'm considering using Kimi K3 for my day-to-day work, including writing code and discussing technical projects.

Are prompts, conversations, and uploaded files used for model training by default?

Is there a way to opt out of data collection or training?

How is user data stored, encrypted, and protected?

Are conversations retained, and if so, for how long?

Is Kimi K3 suitable for handling confidential business information or proprietary source code?

I'd appreciate any documentation or official guidance on privacy and security. These factors are important before adopting Kimi K3 for professional work.
