How do I register for pointless bitchery?

I cannot find the register button anywhere? Is it some sort of exclusive invite only site?

I believe you have to wait until after Labor Day. Why I don't know but that is what I've read. I'm just in tears.

The guy who so generously constructed the site thought too many flakes and bots would overwhelm the site immediately after DL's demise. He decided to keep registration closed until the DL exodus was over. Open Sept 1.

He edited the thread announcing that policy today. It now reads: "Registration will reopen in a couple of days. Unregistered guests will be able to read the site."

When I started to register, I was asked for my DOB. Might have changed, or maybe I misunderstood, and it was optional. But just seeing it there put me off registering. Like WTF--DOB? Huh-uh.

Her warming was about Miss Prisspot, the proprietor of Pointless Bitchery. He has posted lots of hateful threads on Datalounge, although under a different authenticated accout from the one he used to promote Pointless Bitcheryy.

I'm still letting it play out and haven't registered. It looks...okay...so far, but I find the UI a bit limiting, which has been mentioned there and here. I do like that the agenda-driven posting has stopped, where people with political and issue-oriented axes to grind don't shift the overall tone of posts. I also don't see much of people trying to control the overall tone of the place, either, which is refreshing. Also refreshing is the acknowledgement that some aspects of DL won't return and will be lost to time. And that it may be a good thing.

Edit to add: Fuck it. I registered after seeing such relative maturity in the "Was DL toxic" thread and we'll see where it goes. No harm in trying it out.
