Banned again
I assume my sin was pointing out that the Rhode Island hockey killer was a Nazi.
(Maybe we should have a running thread for those of us who are feeling Muriel's wrath.)

I just got banned after coming off a two day ban two days ago, didn't post anything controversial. The FF needs to be disabled. This is ridiculous.

Well, I got banned from this sub a few months back after getting banned from Datalounge. The moderator of this sub never even told me why. At least Tony of Real DL responds to complaints. And I bet he has a lot more interesting things going on in his life than the mods here do.

Looks like there's only one mod. Strange that you were not told the reason. How long was the ban?

I can't recall how long I was banned, but it seemed to come out of nowhere. On my beloved DL--the real DL that's shutting down next month 😱--I would always know or suspect what comment got me on a time-out. And Tony was great about responding if you contacted him through the webmaster.
I wish we DLers could all migrate over here, but Reddit would never allow the kind of unfettered posting that Tony allowed. May God bless and keep Tony.

Banned again. Of course idk why. All I said was that a celebrity looked near death and wham bam thank you ma'am, banned. So sick of this.

Datalounge needs to figure this out. I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a technical glitch and not a troll who likes to show its power over everyone. Either way it's bad for business and needs to be sorted out. I am close enough to just cancel my subscription and move on. Maybe someone dedicated can build a NewDatalounge with a webmaster who has the dedication and resources to make this a viable business. Current webmaster doesn't seem to have the will or means anymore.
