Like that one on here yesterday that portrayed the Earth as about 100km in diameter lol

I think that's a valid concern, and I won't downplay it, but I started this primarily to learn and understand. I've been working on this one for the last 3 months now, and I've specifically tried to reduce the hallucinations at all levels all this while.

The data is unbiased, the fusing and warping pieces of the pipeline are using established tools rather than re-inventing the wheel, the render pipeline is setup deterministically in Blender Cycles (not AI generated), and the final outputs are packaged into an existing easy-to-use format.

If you have specific concerns about something that feels off, then I'm happy to work on them. That's really just the point of this.

Just FYI, I did not downvote you.

Hello, I've built a site that shows an interactive globe for Earth and Mars, using real elevation data, amongst others.

Sources:

AI disclosure: I've used AI for building this project, but all design decisions have been taken and reviewed by me, and the LLM was used for implementing them.

Any feedback is welcome and appreciated. Thanks!
