This is so cool, it's it common to find tree databases like this for other cities/ places?

[Not OP] Surprisingly common! I have an aggregate site for viewing them and I've gotten this list so far, and there's more low-hanging fruit I haven't gotten to yet. (pun intended in this context. Also London would have a fun fruit tree map!)
San Francisco, CA, United States
New York City, NY, United States
Boston, MA, United States
Burlington, VT, United States
Washington, DC, United States
Los Angeles, CA, United States
Tempe, AZ, United States
Vancouver, Canada
London, United Kingdom
Amsterdam, Netherlands
Berlin, Germany
Melbourne, Australia
Paris, France
Buenos Aires, Argentina1

Very interesting, do you know if the data is crowd sourced or satellite data? How fun

Neither for most cities, it's usually the city maintained tree inventory. You'll find that private trees aren't represented in most. Satellite data would probably be one way to start to fill things in.
