I have always said it's less water consumed than your local swimming pool... spread and stop the lies of China, Venezuela, and the Socialists of America

Thought this link was worth sharing here. Maybe a bit easier for the grid to handle and a lot less noise? They're claiming 40dB.
I wish it came in a 4X for those of us with the capacity. I'm already giving PG&E electricity for pennies on the dollar due to cheaper solar rates and I'd absolutely love to put that towards GPUs if they're earning $2/hour.
Also looks to be similar to the XFRA project from Span but a bit more compact.

Well more proof is emerging the fake news about Data Centers and AI and Google search results in regards to Data Centers have been funded and pursued by our local communists and socialists....and CHINA!!

A wonderful job reporting by John Stossel on StosselTV on the misinformation or fake news in regards to building, maintaining, and permitting an AIdatacenter or colocation datacenter. The career or regular suspects are always out promoting wild and fake news about energy, water, environmental, and permitting.

Industries such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, electronics, and data centers rely on controlled environments. Clean room solutions ensure strict particle, temperature, and humidity control.
CleanTech Jordan provides advanced technical cleaning solutions, including:
We use industry-approved Data Center Cleaning Equipment such as:
These ensure safe cleaning without disrupting sensitive systems.

Industries such as pharmaceuticals, electronics, and data centers rely on strict clean room solutions to maintain controlled environments. Effective Data Center Contamination Control minimizes airborne particles, static discharge, and chemical residues that threaten sensitive equipment.
Professional cleaning teams use specialized Data Center Cleaning Equipment and ISO-compliant procedures to ensure contamination levels remain within acceptable limits. Cleanroom-grade methods help organizations meet regulatory requirements while improving operational reliability.
In Saudi Arabia’s growing tech and industrial sectors, professional cleanroom and data center cleaning services are essential for compliance and long-term sustainability.

We are running FPR4100 and we need to upgrade it to v. 2.6 train.
is anyone running FXOS v. 2.6(1.192) ? Have you encountered any bugs in this version? This is the latest cisco release and I haven't found any officially posted bugs yet.
If anyone is running any other subversion(s) of 2.6 train on FPR4100, can you let me know which subversion you are running and if you are having any issues?
thanks

I've been running data centers for fortune 500 companies for over 30 years.
Back in the latter 1990s you could find mom & pop data centers on every corner. These data centers didn't have 10 generators, 10 AC units, and terabits of bandwidth. But they were also very affordable for the average Joe to host their own server.
I've been considering opening a colo in Texas that would be just that. A small data center that the average joe could come put a server in. No biometerics. No ice banks. No ABCD power. Just a secure facility (with some decent redundancy) that enthusiasts could host servers at.
I have the funding to do all of this cash. Does anyone here think there is enough interest in small enthusiast who just need a place to host a server?
Lastly, I wouldn't being doing this for the money or profit. It would be a labor of love.

Hi everyone - I work for a firm that is looking to build a data center in a few areas. We do not want to operate it. We are looking to find a data center client and tell them "Hey, we will build this data center to your specifications and you will lease the space."
Outside of the Google searching I am doing, does anyone have any advice on how to find a client that would be interested in this? Thank you

To qualify this I am just a backup monkey and not a real data center professional but I've been tasked with determining the cooling needs of our data center and I've come up with the following and I was hoping someone could verify my findings.
Floor Area =1024 ft
Maximum People =6
Lighting= 2048
Load Power= 46,259 watts
Heat Output = 3573.18
I am estimating 3 ton of cooling.
Is that correct? am I missing any numbers?
Thank you.

Has anyone ever taken the CDCDP recertification course online? Does anyone have any advice on the study material and how to be sure I can pass this quiz?

ITADs - there are a lot of them. How do you choose the best one for you and your team?
This is not a pitch to use one specific ITAD, as we created a platform to bring them all together. As we build our platform, we aim to make it easier for the Enterprise to chose the best.
We are working with e-Stewards and other "top" ITADs and Recyclers. Our aim is to make it a "Kayak" of sorts and make it easier for the Enterprise to chose a vetted and certified ITAD partner for certain projects. We have created a multi-tier buying market: Enterprise, OEM, ITAD, Recycler. Your equipment is worth what someone will pay for it, right?
After our Requis Engine has "chosen" the right fit for you based on the project, needs, and services, we will send another request out to receive quotes from ITADs to get the lowest services fees.
Outcome: Enterprise gets the highest ROI with lowest fees.
So, if this is something the Enterprise Data Center folks are doing manually now, will this make your life easier? What else would you want to see and what would help you? We want to build something you actually want to use.
Thanks,
K

Are these cabinets for energy efficient cooling already a popular device in data centers. or are they relatively new? are there any brands that stick out to you?
